Lucy POV
Feeling the ground constantly shake from big bro's battle with the flying skeleton, I quickly summoned my newest, well, technically, second newest celestial spirit. "Sagittarius, I choose you!" Raising Sagittarius's key, it let off a golden light, only for Sagittarius to appear beside me, donned in a horse outfit while wielding a bow and arrow. His appearance was more than just a little weird, but he had the power to back it up, so I didn't question it and instead directed his attention to the incoming horde of skeletons.
"Alright, Sagittarius, time for you to shine!" "Shine? Okay!" Having been interrupted, I figured he had already understood the assignment, prompting me to infuse my magic power into my whip, as I prepared to fight back the skeletons, only to freeze in disbelief as I glanced at Sagittarius, who had his eyes closed and was intensely concentrating. "W-What are you doing!?" "I'm shining! Moshi Moshi!"
'Why are celestial spirits so weird!? Maybe they're just mine and the others are normal?' Rubbing my head in frustration, I gently kicked Sagittarius, breaking him out of his 'concentration'. "No! Attack the incoming horde of skeletons! Aim for their heads, that's their weakness!" "Oh, should've said so earlier." Nearly wanting to pull my hair out of my head, I was slightly taken aback when I saw Sagittarius efficiently and easily pierce the skeleton's skulls.
'Whoa, he's doing an even better job than Taurus!' However, my excitement waned slightly when I noticed the horde of skeletons closing in on him despite his efforts. 'It'll be bad if they get too close.' Realizing Sagittarius's weakness, I quickly positioned myself in front of him while snapping my whip onto the ground. "Sagittarius, take care of the larger ones; we'll handle the smaller ones." With a firm nod, Sagittarius quickly focused his attention on the larger and stronger skeletons, destroying their skulls in one hit, though it allowed the weaker and smaller skeletons to sneak through.
'Alright, I can handle these skeletons; they're just some wolves, tigers, lions, gorillas, and some bears. Not to mention they're significantly weaker as mere skeletons.' Calming my nervous heart, I leaped into the air, taking out the first skeleton with the famous— "Lucy Kick!" Cracking the wolf's skull open, I snapped my whip, hitting two more wolves, destroying their skulls. Shifting my gaze to the tiger and lion, I snapped my whip once more, taking out the lion, but the tiger pounced at me.
Just when I was about to raise my whip to block its mouth, its skull was cleanly cut in half by a card, prompting me to glance at Cana, who flashed me a smirk, having a noticeably easier time despite facing the same number of enemies. Smirking back, I snapped my whip in repeated succession at the incoming Gorilla, destroying both of its large arms before finally finishing it by destroying its skull.
Glancing at the bear charging right for me, I quickly jumped, leaping over the skeleton before landing atop its back as I wrapped my whip around its neck, using it as support lest I fell off. Once I got a stable footing, I stood on its spine and pulled with all my might, causing faint snapping noises to resound through the air before I finally managed to fully snap the bear's neck off as I fell to the ground, yet even so, the skeleton didn't collapse and quickly turned around, heading directly for me.
'You've got to be kidding me, the skull has to be destroyed!?' Grumbling under my breath, I raised my leg and stomped onto the bear's skull, crushing it and causing the skeleton that nearly charged me to collapse into a pile of harmless bones. "Ha, I'd like a short break now." Unfortunately, my words fell on deaf ears as a continuous stream of skeletons headed for me, causing me to sigh; I could only thank Sagittarius for dealing with the stronger ones while I handled the weaker ones.
"H-How much was the pay for this mission, Cana?" "2 million jewels." 'Only 2 million!? That skeleton big bro is fighting is probably stronger than Deliora, at least from the magic I can sense, and we're only getting paid 2 million!? Why did I want to be a mage again!?'
While lamenting my life choices, I continued to fight against the incoming skeletons, since if I didn't, I wouldn't be able to fix my life if I lost it here. 'Haa, I need a boyfriend… I refuse to die without experiencing love and sex!'

Cooper POV
Crossing my arms, blocking the dragon's roar, I grabbed a chunk of the mountain it had destroyed and tossed it, yet it easily avoided it, causing me to click my tongue as I narrowed my eyes on its two wings. 'I'll never kill it unless I take those wings.' Grabbing two more pieces, I threw one at the dragon and the other at where I predicted it would go, and while I succeeded, the dragon simply moved too fast in the air that it dodged both of them.
'You've got to be… Alright, let's try this.' Grabbing a boulder, I filled it to the brim with my magic power and tossed it at the dragon, though this time, once it neared the flying skeleton, it exploded, creating deadly shrapnel, yet with a single flap of its wings, it instantly nullified my attack, causing me to growl in annoyance as I promptly stuck both hands into the ground. "Since I can't outsmart it, I need to outpower it!"
Needing to push myself beyond my limits, I slowly yet surely lifted an absolutely massive chunk of earth out of the ground, yet the skeleton wasn't just going to watch me; attacking from above, it used a breath attack, engulfing me in a powerful and sinister magic that scorched my back, creating numerous cuts and blisters while I hissed in pain. Fighting through the pain, I waited for the skeleton to finish its roar before finally lifting a hectare of land a meter thick out of the ground.
Grinning through the pain and strain of the weight of the land, I stepped forward, using momentum to hurl it at the dragon, preventing it from dodging, given the sheer size of the attack; however, that wasn't all I had as I leaped into the air, following right behind the thrown hectare of land. Once my attack reached the skeleton, it easily broke through the land, causing my grin to deepen as I stared at its wisps for eyes. "Hehe, got you!"
Although the skeleton tried to quickly fly out of the way, I was too close and I latched onto its talons, swiftly climbing up its body while resisting the potent, sinister magic that invaded my body, slowly eroding it, causing me to cough up a clump of blackish blood. 'Even with Indestructible Magic, it's still invading my body; the only thing that could do this is a curse, not magic.'
While latching onto the back of the dragon, it began to fly recklessly, seeking to fling me off, but as if that would be enough to get rid of me; slowly making my way to one of the dragon's bone wings, I grabbed hold of it and punched it, needing to use an incredibly amount of strength just to crack the bones, let alone actually break it.
"Fuck, you'll break my hand!" Gritting my teeth, I reeled my head back and headbutted the wing-bone, deepening the cracks and slightly dazing myself, but once I regained my bearings, I used all of my strength as I headbutted it again, breaking the bone, causing the dragon and I to fall to the ground. "Fuck." With barely enough time to cross my arms, I crashed into the ground, specifically the pile of debris that used to form a mountain.
'Ugh, my whole body hurts, especially my forehead, I've got a massive headache.' Rubbing my head in pain, I felt the ground tremble as the massive, one-winged dragon skeleton stood up, causing me to sigh as I quickly did the same, hissing in pain while doing so. "Fighting against something that can't feel pain, what fucking luck." Chuckling in amusement since while I sounded irritated, I couldn't have been happier; if my enemy wouldn't be affected by pain, then that meant I could thoroughly enjoy myself.
"Hehe, c'mon fucking skeleton, I'm just getting warmed up!" Slicking my hair back, I wiped the blood leaking from my mouth and sported a feral grin as I promptly lunged at the dragon, who roared before swiping its massive talons, though I met its attack with a punch of my own. Stopping its talons, we were both forced backwards before we once again charged at each other, blocking its next attack while firmly planting my feet. I endured the pain of my skin being slashed open and retaliated by punching its palm, creating cracks.
'Hehe, c'mon, let's trade blows! Soon, you'll learn the drawbacks of not experiencing pain!' Blocking yet another attack, I aggressively punched its palm once more, causing its talons to break while I lunged forth and raised both hands above my head. Above the skeleton's head, I violently swung down, slamming it onto its skull, creating faint cracks, yet I was unable to follow up as I was forced to cross my arms, blocking a mighty roar that completely enveloped me, flinging me into the distance.
