Chapter 90 - CHAPTER EIGHTY-NINE

Giovane and the others simply watched as Vince's house burned.

They carefully planned what they would do. Damn! He said to himself with a frown.

"What should we do now? This one is really clever; they know what they're doing." That's all, Alexander said while standing next to him.

He turned away from the house where he could grab Vince by the neck, but Vince read his mind.

"We need to continue with our plan." That was all Giovane said to his companion.

His phone vibrated.

"Yes?" he answered immediately.

"Boss, we didn't find anything here." The information reached him immediately.

"Goddamn it! That brother of William?" He asked, starting to get annoyed with the series of blunders happening now.

Really challenging. He just smiled.

"Go back to the warehouse." He suddenly ordered his subordinates to return to the warehouse, aware that the items were still there.

"Why didn't you kill them?" Alexander asked him.

He just sighed and didn't answer the question thrown at him.

"How's the task I assigned to you?" he asked Alexander, turning to him.

He just lit a cigarette.

"Confirm that Thalia Blanco is blood-related to Fernan Tejero and Vince Tejero; she has a brother and a sister, she is the third among the siblings, and the funny thing is, they are the children of Rizalyn Blanco and Jeffrey Tejero. Do you know their parents?" Alexander asked Giovane.

He glanced at his companion. Who could ever forget that name? When his mother died, those two veteran journalists fought the case. The case against his father was halted because they didn't have strong evidence at that time.

Until Chesca's mother, a Roman, came in, who supported the two journalists, she died, and it was made to look like an accident so that her other colleagues wouldn't suspect anything. However, Chesca's mother found herself in possession of the crucial evidence, which remains undiscovered to this day.

Alexander gave a photo to Giovane. "Do you know their eldest?" he asked him.

He immediately looked at the picture. He was shocked because he had memories, especially from the dream. Giovane remembers his piercing gaze when he shot him, and he shuddered all over his body.

He just shook his head. "No, do you know him?" he asked Alexander.

"Not really, but he looks very familiar; I just can't recall where we might have met." Alexander is still trying to remember and in deep thought.

"What is the eldest Blanco's job?" Giovane asked his companion.

"Oh, he's a breadwinner for their family, and he stopped studying when he went to college."

"What else? What other information do you see?" he asked.

His companion looked at him and sighed. "Your guts are kicking in again, right? You want to confirm from me that this assignment is related to taking down the black market?" he asked.

"He holds a respectable job; I don't envision him engaging in unscrupulous activities." Alexander just sighed.

"It's very odd; if that has nothing to do with it, why is his sister here and involved?" He furrowed his brow.

"Well, Chesca is her friend; Thalia might have just helped her friend." Alexander said.

He stopped in his thoughts.

"It is also possible that his two cousins forced him, or perhaps her older brother is secretly involved, especially since her two cousins are implicated." He added, thinking as well.

"It's possible that they will do it. If I understood correctly, you mentioned that no one within the organization is involved in the black market, is that correct? Giovane asked him.

"Observe that man; I'm not mistaken, he might be the one helping Jake." He said.

"Okay, got it." He said.

"How are the two of them? Was Isabel's treatment of Chesca beneficial?" He asked.

"She became friends with her quickly; she didn't suspect her actions. The big problem is, Thalia is still not very close to her; that girl Thalia has feminine instinct." Alexander said to him.

"We need to get those three." He took out his phone.

"Since Mikaela and a Blanco sibling are also here, don't worry; if we catch them, we will hear the truth." Giovane said.

Alexander immediately provided the CCTV footage, which captured Mikaela sneaking into their mansion.

"Fortunately, we have the advantage, Giovane. We have Vince by the neck, especially Jake, if I'm correct, because that guy is also your cousin." He added.

"And also, Charles is your cousin too…" He even laughed.

"Let's see the saying, 'blood is thicker than water.'"

He immediately noticed their warehouse; his colleagues were in chaos.

"What happened?" he asked his companions.

"Boss, some have defected from the organization and joined Vince."

He didn't listen any further. He looked inside the warehouse. There are many scattered corpses. Clearly, a shootout had taken place earlier. He didn't expect that many traitors would side with his enemies.

"Where are the other investors and Dad's associates who are here? Are they safe?" he asked them.

"Yes, boss, we believed it was best to remove them immediately when chaos erupted in your room." This is what he said.

He was able to breathe a sigh of relief back then because his father would get angry if his request wasn't prioritized.

"And our goods?" He immediately checked each room one by one; some were still there, clearly terrified.

"The worst thing is, they might use the evidence they found today." Alexander said to him.

He was thinking carefully, considering possible actions, and he would rather not entrust it to his father's police friends, because if there was a lot of evidence, they would have to clean up a significant amount, and there was a possibility they could get caught.

"Alexander," he called out to him.

He smirked at the plan.

"We need to get our hands on those three, especially Mikaela, as soon as possible; they'll be in our hands." He said.

Alexander didn't say anything; instead, he scratched his head in confusion while making a call on his phone.

I will send them to hell, along with the destruction of the evidence in this warehouse.
