Chapter 89 - CHAPTER EIGHTY-EIGHT

Vince brought Zenne with Charles to the warehouse. He already knew the tone of Vince's voice and how he thought. He said that something unexpected would happen. Then Vince will follow, dropping off Felix's youngest at his house.

Here he is now, walking inside the warehouse in silence. Zenne is just scratching her head. They were getting closer to the room where Giovane was waiting.

They entered; Giovane had his back to the edge of his things.

"Oh, you are here, Charles." He said and turned to them.

Giovane also looked at him with a meaningful gaze. "So you're here too, Zenne." He said.

He took a gun from his side. He felt that in a few seconds, there would be gunfire inside the room, so he discreetly reached for his gun.

He noticed that Giovane was cleaning his gun.

"Do you know why I called you?" he asked his companion.

His companion let out a sigh. "I'm not going to guess what you want from me, Giovane." His only response was a shake of his head.

"Oh, I see, I forgot to tell you the plan for today."

Zenne was just listening to the conversation; he was watching to see what the next step would be.

"Plan? Plan where?" Charles asked, feigning ignorance about what was being said.

"I found out who betrayed us, Charles." He smirked at them.

"Oh? That's excellent." That's all, Charles replied to the person; he knew that their gun was also ready.

"Guess what—who are the people who betrayed the organization?" Giovane asked Charles.

"Guess who?" Charles asked back.

Giovane only smirks at them; they were pointed at with a gun. "I guess which gun this will target."

"I see," his companion said calmly. Charles also pointed a gun at Giovane.

He even laughed at it. "Why, Charles? Am I one of the people who betrayed the organization?" Giovane asked.

"Who knows what your crazy mind is thinking right now, Giovane?" He just smiled at Giovane.

The sight of armed men surrounding them filled his entire being with alarm.

"Well, yeah, I shouldn't be wasting my time on people like you." Giovane lowered the gun and looked at the men.

"Let's just meet in the afterlife, Charles," he said and even patted Charles. "Oh no, I can't die after all." He even smiled and left immediately.

"Alright, chase those two; I'll take care of Jake myself." He said that and immediately left, closing the door.

There was a long silence on each side of the people inside the room. They were gauging who would be the first to fire.

A loud bang echoed through the room, nearly hitting Charles.

"Give up already; you can't handle the Fuego." Warning to them.

"Give up?" Charles asked them. "We're already here; why give up? Come and get me if you can." This one is a challenge.

"Charles will kill you if you don't do your job." Zenne said to them.

"Ah, I thought I was too late." They heard a familiar voice.

"Vince, you really had to add to the situation." Charles just shook his head.

"I'm just taking my time to get here."

"Let's go," Vince said to them.

"Go where?" he asked, lowering the gun.

"You already know."

Vince shot other people in the organization; he only realized now that some of his comrades wanted to join them. He is shooting the people who betrayed their organization now.

So, this idiot's plan is working again? Really? One by one, he thought to himself, they were eliminating their enemies.

He knows exactly who the traitor is, huh? Because they noticed someone drawing a gun, Vince immediately got ahead.

"If you betray us, I will personally ensure that a bullet is buried in your head out there. Do you understand?" Zenne shook his head because he was pressuring those who wanted to side with them.

The terrified staff immediately nodded; it seemed the situation was turning, but they still needed to be careful.

"What are we going to do?" Zenne asked Vince.

"We will release their captives one by one now," Vince said, pointing to another room where William is located.

"Please help William." He immediately turned to Vince's new staff.

They immediately nodded.

"Where is Giovane going?" he asked.

"Yes, Felix? How's Felix doing?" He asked one after another.

"Don't worry about Felix; he can overcome his problem." This is what he said.

"Where are they going, Giovane?" Zenne asked, puzzled.

"I bet he will go to our houses, mine and William's. Zenne, how are your siblings?" Vince asked him with an alarmed voice.

"They're safe, they're safe." He replied.

"That's good to hear." He let out a sigh.

They destroyed other rooms and found some captives tied up; they immediately freed them. They knew they couldn't save many at once, so they only rescued those they encountered in each room.

We will come back for you; hang in there, guys. He could only say it in his mind.

They had already exited the warehouse, carrying what they had rescued back then. They can hear the gunfire from each group's clash. There are no more impostors in their group. The problem is how they can get through the current situation.

He suddenly became worried about the children who were there.

"Are Thalia and others being safe?" Zenne asked worriedly.

"They still can't touch Thalia, because the two of them are still there." Vince let out a sigh, thinking about what their next move would be.

"Where is Jake now?" Vince asked them.

"He's at William's warehouse." He answered.

"Does he want to die?" Charles asked back then.

He just sighed; he would rather not argue anymore.

Jake won't move forward if he doesn't have a plan in his mind. He just said it.
