This place is as again? Usual. William could only focus on observing what was happening around him. He had already called Zenne because he still had something important to do.
Where could that be again? Bored from waiting for his companion, he could only wonder in his mind.
Suddenly, the door opened. It did not speak. He heard footsteps coming toward where he was. He turned around and saw Zenne at that moment.
He just sighed because he was busy fiddling with his phone. He suddenly tapped Zenne.
"Old habits." He whispered the words and then walked past. He still has something to do; he will only do one task. He knows that Charles won't be able to move much right now either, because Giovane is here.
He will first take care of the important task Jake assigned to him; otherwise, he will pick up Chesca wherever she is.
His other companions were busy, and he noticed that many more women had been abducted by his comrades. In the organization, he is not involved in the abduction of missing women; instead, other members have different tasks assigned to them.
William, who sometimes cleans up the lab's living toys, also cleans up messes and disposes of bodies after experiments.
He intentionally throws them in the nearby town so they can be easily found, or occasionally he leaves an identification card to make it easier to identify the missing.
There, he gives them a proper burial, even though it cannot truly be called a proper burial if their internal organs are missing or if they have already decayed.
"Well, will you throw that away?" His colleague, who was looking at a black tab, asked him a question.
He just nodded at his colleague's question. "Okay, I'm leaving now." He said.
"I'll help you with that." One of them said.
"Isn't it that I can't? Charles has something for you to do, right?" He asked him.
"Yeah, fine, you take care of it." He even said.
He immediately carried a black tab at the back of his multicab; the surroundings were also getting darker, and he needed to take care of things because Chesca was already there where Charles was hiding it now.
Charles couldn't leave either because he had a visitor. He knew he had another purpose: to also keep an eye on its movements. He started the engine of his vehicle, and after a few seconds, he drove off, traversing the hushed road.
He was looking at his side mirror then; he was quite far from the warehouse and the watchful eyes. He noticed it was quite far away; he glanced again at the tab he could see in the back. He let out a sigh.
"You can come out now; you're safe here."
The black tab moved then, and its cover opened; a woman immediately stepped out of the tab, looking around to see where they were.
"Don't worry, you're safe." He ended up saying it.
He could see that her eyes were still scared, and she was still in defense mechanism mode since he saved her last night.
"W … Where are you taking me?" He heard the girl ask.
He stopped the vehicle in front of a hut.
"Get out." He ordered the young woman.
She hesitated to come down, still afraid of him. He looked at the woman.
"Save yourselves; this is the only way I can help you. I can't bring you back to your family." He said back then.
"Why are you doing this?" This one asked in surprise.
He let out a deep sigh at the barrage of questions he was now facing. He looked at a hut.
"Ask for help there. They will help you." He said and pointed to the hut near them.
The woman he helped got off. "Just tell the owner of the hut that Delta sent you."
After saying that, he immediately drove off, and he saw the woman he helped heading in the same direction.
He has already saved quite a few young girls. When he is assigned here, he helps her secretly and talks to her so that she won't be afraid of him and will agree to take steps with him.
In that hut, there is a tunnel leading to the shelter of the women he rescued and to his colleagues in the organization. There, they are temporarily hiding the women they rescued, because someday they will have evidence to use against what is happening now.
The women being rescued serve as witnesses in case a trial occurs, while he is simply preparing himself.
This is the least I can do to help them. He could only say it in his mind.
He checked if no one was watching him, because he still had something to do. He turned onto a road; there was a hut there. He entered, and there was a car parked in his garage. He used a white car to go see Charles and Chesca, who were waiting for him.
He hid the vehicle he used earlier and headed straight to his destination. After a while, he saw a large, abandoned gate weathered by time. Charles brought Chesca to this hideout, far from the Fuego warehouse, to ensure her safety.
The gate immediately let him through, having already detected him and confirmed he was not an enemy. Charles was cautious with his movements. He has a lot of space, but it doesn't look like it from the outside.
He also entered the mansion. Charles was there, staring into space, and Chesca was quietly sitting.
Chesca was surprised by William's arrival.
He even heard him sigh and stare at him in silence.
"Take her home." That's all he heard from Charles. "I also need to prepare…" He immediately grabbed his things.
"Come on, Chesca." William said.
Chesca didn't speak, gauging the situation to see if it was safe for him to leave the mansion.
"Jake will kill me if you are in danger. I'll take you to where you're going to stay." He explained to his companion.
"Is this location near the Fuego warehouse?" Chesca asked William.
"Yeah." He said briefly. As Felix told him, Thalia's and Chesca's paths would cross.
Chesca immediately followed him, leaving Charles to finish dressing.
"Charles, you need to go there." He replied.
His companion simply nodded. As for him, he would still take Chesca home. He can't complain because everything that will happen in the future depends on the person in front of him.
