Seventh Universe – World of the Gods of Destruction

Son Goku and Vegeta were sparring fiercely with Whis, their fists blurring through the air. Yet, every strike they launched was effortlessly dodged. Whis moved like a phantom, occasionally countering with gentle taps from his staff and calmly pointing out flaws in their technique.
"Son Goku, don't get reckless in the middle of a sequence. Vegeta, commit to your offense no hesitation." Whis's voice was casual, but precise. With a light tap from his scepter, both Saiyans were effortlessly knocked off balance and sent flying backward.
At that moment, Li Xu arrived at Beerus's planet, accompanied by both Bulma, Android 18, and the two children, Li Yi and Bulla. After spending months training on Earth, Li Xu's restlessness had grown. He was preparing for another visit to Universe 6, and Android 18, hearing the news, insisted on tagging along Li Xu had no objections.
"Whis," Li Xu greeted with a grin, watching Goku and Vegeta flung aside like rookies. The scene reminded him vividly of his early training days with the angel.
"Li Xu," Goku called out with excitement as he got up, brushing dust from his gi. "Come spar with me! My power's gone up a lot since last time!"
"Kakarot! You'll have to wait I want to fight him first!" Vegeta growled, stepping forward with crossed arms.
"Neither of you can match Li Xu right now," Whis interjected with a chuckle. "His ki is far denser and more refined. He's operating on a level far beyond both of you."
"There'll be time to fight later," Li Xu said with a calm smile. "For now, keep up your training. You two have made solid progress."
Indeed, Son Goku's base power level had climbed to 200 million, and Vegeta's had reached 180 million a remarkable gain over a short time, especially without constant divine training.
"Uncle Goku, let me be your opponent!" Li Yi suddenly stepped forward, his youthful face full of determination and eagerness to test his limits.
"Alright!" Goku replied with his trademark grin. He had been keeping an eye on Li Yi's development and knew the kid was strong.
"Then don't hold back!" Li Yi warned, instantly transforming into a Super Saiyan, a golden aura exploding around him as he charged.
Boom!
Goku, caught in his base form, was taken by surprise and blasted backward by a single heavy punch. The force cracked the ground and sent dust flying.
"What?! How did that kid's power jump so much?" Vegeta said in disbelief. Li Yi's base combat power now hovered around 300 million, clearly surpassing both Goku and Vegeta.
"So strong!" Goku steadied himself in the air, a wide grin spreading across his face. "Alright, now I've gotta take this seriously!"
With a flash, Goku flared into his Super Saiyan form, golden energy radiating from his body like a sun.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Their punches collided in midair, sending shockwaves across Beerus's world, as the young prodigy and the veteran Saiyan exchanged fierce blows. The onlookers could only watch in awe as the next generation clashed with the last.
A thunderous clash echoed through the skies, and white shockwaves rippled outwards. Apart from Bulma and Android 18, everyone else could still follow the high-speed movements relatively clearly.
"Li Xu, Li Yi's power spike came from the Tree of Might's fruit, didn't it?" Whis said with a knowing smile. He was already aware that Li Xu had cultivated his own version of the Tree of Might and had distributed its potent fruit. Noticing Li Yi's sudden surge in strength, Whis immediately deduced the cause.
"Yes," Li Xu nodded calmly.
Li Yi's immense power boost had made him slightly overconfident. Battling Son Goku would help him stabilize his newfound strength more quickly.
"Xiaoyi's combat intuition still needs sharpening," Li Xu observed, shaking his head slightly.
Li Yi's base power level was now a full 100 million higher than Son Goku's, and his Super Saiyan form boasted a 5 billion lead. Yet he was still unable to dominate the fight.
"Honey, Xiaoyi's already amazing. When you were his age, you weren't even close to that level," Bulma teased, praising their son.
Li Xu didn't argue at Li Yi's age, he hadn't even begun formal training, let alone stood against someone like Goku.
"Li Yi's growth rate is indeed remarkable," Whis smiled approvingly. As the bout continued, Li Yi was gradually gaining the upper hand over Goku.
Boom!
Just as Whis spoke, Son Goku was sent flying. He spun midair and quickly stabilized himself before crashing, soaring back up with an excited expression.
"I didn't expect you to be this strong," Goku said, eyes gleaming.
"Uncle Goku, don't underestimate me!" Li Yi said proudly.
"Then I'll crank things up!" Goku laughed, and with a roar, ascended into Super Saiyan 2, golden electricity crackling around his aura.
Boom!
In an instant, Goku appeared in front of Li Yi and drove a punch into his abdomen. The intense shock made Li Yi drop from his Super Saiyan state and plummet toward the ground.
"Brother!" Bulla yelled, darting forward to catch Li Yi before he hit the surface.
Li Yi wasn't hurt badly and quickly regained consciousness.
"Xiaoyi, don't get cocky. Your strength came from an external source, and you're not in full control of it yet," Li Xu said seriously.
Even though Goku's Super Saiyan 2 form barely surpassed Li Yi's power by 5 billion, the fact that he won so decisively showed that Li Yi lacked refined control. With full mastery, Li Yi wouldn't lose in one move.
"I'll train hard and get full control over my power," Li Yi nodded earnestly, recognizing his flaw.
Depending too heavily on external power like the Tree of Might's fruit—left lingering instability. These weaknesses had to be addressed, or they'd hinder future breakthroughs.
"Bulla, the same goes for you," Li Xu added, turning his gaze to her.
Bulla's foundation was slightly weaker than Li Yi's, so if he couldn't control the power fully yet, it meant she definitely couldn't either.
"Dad, I'll train with my brother," Bulla said softly. She knew her father never compromised when it came to training, and that acting spoiled wouldn't change his stance.
"Li Xu, what's your purpose for coming to the Gods of Destruction Realm? If Lord Beerus wakes up and finds this many people here, he'll explode," Whis warned casually.
"I'm planning to head to Universe 6 again," Li Xu said.
"Looking for the Super Dragon Balls again?" Whis asked, arching a brow.
"No. I just want to meet some of the top fighters in Universe 6," Li Xu clarified. The first journey to collect Super Dragon Balls had been for the experience; there was no need for another.
"Well, fair enough. At your current power, there really aren't many in Universe 7 who can match you," Whis agreed.
Li Xu, now a reserve Time Patrol enforcer, had enough authority and strength that even Champa, the God of Destruction of Universe 6, wouldn't dare interfere without cause.
"Universe 6 has strong fighters?" Goku asked eagerly, eyes lighting up.
"Of course," Whis chuckled. "Universe 6 and Universe 7 are twins there are Saiyans there too, and several powerful elites."
"I want to visit Universe 6 someday," Goku said, visibly excited by the idea.
"Goku, for now, stay and continue your training here in the Destruction Realm. You'll get your chance to meet them later," Li Xu said. He didn't want to bring Goku and Vegeta along just yet.
"I'll train even harder. Next time, I'll make sure I'm strong enough to come too!" Goku replied enthusiastically.
"Whis, please send us over," Li Xu said, taking a deep breath.
Whis raised his scepter and lightly tapped the ground. A dimensional gate shimmered into existence, and within moments, Li Xu and his group were pulled inside, en route to Universe 6.
