Chapter 57: A Morning Rejuvenation
By the time Bai Feng returned home, Dongyu had already finished making dinner with the children. So, Bai Feng had the Talonflame Captain make another trip to the Blue Bird Orphanage to pick up Director Meili, and everyone happily ate dinner together.
After dinner, Bai Feng called all the Pokémon in the Orchard over and introduced Purrloin, Gastly, Misdreavus, and Litwick to everyone.
Everyone was very friendly to the four new employees and proactively offered to help them get familiar with their future work and life in the Orchard.
Although Purrloin was inwardly a relatively cautious Pokémon, its outward personality was very lively and it was good at pleasing others. In no time, it had blended in with the older employees like Diggersby.
Gastly, Misdreavus, and Litwick, however, were very reserved. They were unable to adapt to this unfamiliar environment and felt scared because they didn't understand Bai Feng and the Pokémon here.
Actually, according to the Masked Man's description, these three Ghost-type Pokémon should have been relatively lively and active. It seemed their previous experiences had a significant impact on them.
Seeing that the three Ghost-type Pokémon weren't fitting in well, Bai Feng quietly instructed the other Pokémon to take extra care of them.
Next, Bai Feng took them to the Staff Dormitory and arranged accommodation for the four new employees.
The three Ghost-type Pokémon chose to live in one room together and picked a room located in a corner spot.
Purrloin chose a room on the top floor of the Staff Building. It said it liked to look out from high places. Bai Feng arranged some necessary daily necessities in its room according to its preference, such as a bed, quilt, and food bowl.
In the evening, Director Meili took Dongyu and Yangtai back to the Blue Bird Orphanage, while Caicaizi stayed overnight on the mountain with a few of the younger children.
Similarly, the four new employees also spent their first night here on Fangxing Mountain.
Purrloin had already gotten quite familiar with Bai Feng and currently trusted him somewhat, so it slept very soundly that night.
But the three Ghost-type Pokémon initially couldn't fall asleep at all, feeling both scared and confused. It wasn't until a Fletchinder with a Fletchling on patrol passed by and saw they weren't asleep that they stopped at the windowsill and said to them:
"Sleep peacefully. We're on patrol tonight, so there won't be any safety issues."
Perhaps the Fletchinder's words really worked, as the three Ghost-type Pokémon eventually drifted off to sleep in a daze.
The next day, when Bai Feng got up and washed up, he heard movement in the kitchen. He quickly finished getting ready and went into the kitchen to see that Caicaizi was already preparing breakfast inside.
Bai Feng quickly went over to help. "You could have waited for me to get up and do this. Sleep a little longer."
Caicaizi shook her head and said, "I'm used to getting up early every day. I wake up when it's time and can't sleep anymore."
Bai Feng said helplessly, "You're on vacation at home and you don't even know how to enjoy it."
Caicaizi chuckled at his words.
After breakfast was ready, Bai Feng went to wake up the lazy Bai Ye, Brionne, Helioptile, Larvitar, and the children to eat.
After eating breakfast, Bai Feng originally planned to go check on Fangcun Mountain, but after seeing Brionne and Helioptile arguing, he had a sudden idea.
So he waved at the two little ones and said, "You two stop arguing, come here, I need you for something."
Helioptile didn't want to bother with Brionne, who was chasing after it and scolding it, and darted over to Bai Feng's side. Seeing this, Brionne reluctantly walked over as well, not forgetting to glare fiercely at Helioptile, though Helioptile didn't even look at it properly.
Just then, Larvitar, who had just finished eating and drinking its fill, walked past Bai Feng and the others with its hands behind its back, its round little belly sticking out, like a little old man. So Bai Feng called it over as well.
"You come along too."
"Me? What does their argument have to do with me?"
Larvitar thought Bai Feng was calling it because Brionne and Helioptile had just been arguing, so it followed along with a head full of question marks.
Bai Feng took the three Pokémon to the room where they usually had Rejuvenation and had them lie down on the bed together.
Time for Rejuvenation?
Brionne and Helioptile immediately became excited. They hadn't expected to enjoy Rejuvenation so early in the morning. Pokémon life was truly wonderful.
Bai Feng was indeed going to give them Rejuvenation.
Yesterday, he had used psychic energy to control Golden Finger Energy to sort the Arboreal Energy for the Dragon Eye Fruit Tree, greatly improving efficiency. So today, he wanted to try again to see if he could use the same method to sort the Energy Circuits for multiple Pokémon simultaneously.

The pale blue was Bai Feng's psychic energy, and the pure white light ray was his Golden Finger Energy.
According to Caitlin, a Psychic's psychic energy is light blue when weak. As training deepens and psychic energy gradually strengthens, the pale blue psychic energy will gradually transform towards purple. The stronger the psychic energy, the deeper that purple will be.
For example, Bai Ye's psychic energy was light purple, while Bai Feng's psychic energy was only pale blue. Caitlin's psychic energy, on the other hand, was deep blue.
After the first white light ray appeared, a second one soon followed, then a third, a fourth, and a fifth.
Bai Feng discovered that without touching the Pokémon, he could only split his psychic energy into five streams, simultaneously controlling five Golden Finger Energy light rays. He couldn't control eight simultaneously like when sorting the Dragon Eye Fruit Tree, much less twelve like when Bai Ye helped.
Since only three Pokémon needed Rejuvenation, and Bai Feng had already understood his limit, he split two of the streams and merged them into the remaining three.
The three lying Pokémon were waiting for Bai Feng to perform Rejuvenation with their eyes closed. But after waiting for a long time without feeling Bai Feng's movements, they couldn't help but open their eyes. Then they saw three white lines wrapped in blue light drilling into their bodies.
The three Pokémon were startled and instinctively wanted to struggle, but the next second, Bai Feng shouted loudly, "Don't move!"
Hearing this, the three Pokémon had no choice but to continue lying still.

The moment the three light rays entered their bodies, that familiar feeling returned. It was the feeling of Rejuvenation, so comfortable!
With the experience from the Dragon Eye Fruit Tree before, Bai Feng's process of sorting and purification of Origin Energy for the three Pokémon this time was much smoother. He also became more skilled at controlling Golden Finger Energy with psychic energy.
Bai Feng felt that he could try using this method again another day to help the Pokémon light up their Hidden Energy Circuits.
