Li Ren and Li Bo Yen were stuck in the same traffic jam, just a few blocks away from President Li's convoy. Their luxury car had barely moved in ten minutes.
Dressed in designer suits far too flashy for their age, the sixteen-year-old brothers were sprawled out in the backseat, sunglasses on, acting like the city belonged to them.
Li Ren tapped the tinted window with a bored sigh. "Ugh, do you think Father's going to the auction too? What if we bump into him?"
Li Bo Yen raised an eyebrow, sipping his iced latte like it was champagne. "Highly doubt it. He thinks we're still at Grandma's playing chess and reading poetry."
"Right!" Li Ren snorted. "It's good if he doesn't know anything!" After all, they weren't going there for something good.
They exchanged a smug grin and bumped fists.
"Anyway, if we see him, we'll just say Grandpa dropped us off to experience 'art and culture.' He loves that line," Bo Yen added, adjusting his perfectly styled hair in the mirror.
