Chapter 12 - Chapter 12

Haku's POV

As soon as Stella gave me the control and I shifted into this (wolf) form. I ran, I ran as fast as I could.

As much as I want to meet my mate, the scars left by alphas on me are too deep and traumatic.

I know I have been fighting with my Stella and whining to meet our mate, but she knows she's as scared as me and she would never do that.

Wait! I thought of a way we can meet our mate!

"Stella! I have an idea!"

"Is it about running any faster so that our mate doesn't catch us?"

"No, it's about how we can meet our mate without them knowing we are their mate."

"Haku, we have talked about this."

"No, we have talked about how I want to meet our mate, and you don't want to."

"Just run for now. We will talk about this later when we are safe and away from our mate, where we can't get their scent."

"Fine! I will just run for now, and far away, my mate"

"Yes, you do that, drama queen."

I could hear the crunching of the leaves and twigs breaking under heavy force, and the force is just not mine. I could hear it at a distance, too, which means our mate is still following us. Geez, give up for once.

I ran faster because I knew he could catch me easily since he's an alpha, but I am a rogue omega! He's not the first alpha I'm running from.

Rogue alphas are faster than the pack alphas, but I have a feeling he can outrun a rogue alpha because he has spent hours and days of his life running after rogues and killing them.

He will never catch me. I either have to run faster or run around, confusing him with my scent everywhere. As a smart omega, I will be running around and confusing him with my scent.

Saying that, I started running around in huge circles in the forest, so that he could still smell my scent but couldn't see me. This was not the first time I had tried this trick, and it always worked, and I did it until I could no longer smell the alpha's scent. So, I did the same this time and ran away to my pack's shift pack house after a while of no longer being able to smell his scent.
