Chapter 6 - Chapter 6:-Words or Wisdom

His hands were on the doors, with the monitor screen raising the low pulse. Ray was fighting for his life on the hospital bed. His situation was stable but his injuries weren't healed yet.

Raizon was waiting for his uncle to wake up and hold his hand. Give him the warmth that he need in such a crooked situation. He was all devastated by the thoughts running inside. Should I really forget about my dream? Will my uncle love my decision? Won't I be called a coward if I step back now? But most importantly won't I be hurting myself?

Looking into the room again he saw no sign of his uncle waking up. Turning around unconsciously, his tired body orderd him to take a seat. He couldn't even look ahead. His neck was barely hanging and his eyes were hardly open. He was continuously looking at the maiden floor until his vision blurred.

"Raizon" a known voice called clearing his vision. It wasn't the hospital corridor, it was the "Dial bridge" that Raizon and his uncle used to sit on chatting for hours. He found his uncle setting on the edge of the wall lining the edges of the bridge.

"Uncle" he said with cracking voice. The tears came down again even though he knew it was just an illusion.

"Raizon, how are you my son?" he asked.

"Uncle" Raizon kept chanting the word until he reached out to his uncle's arm. But this time he didn't rested him, instead he threw away his offer for a hug. Raizon was shocked looking at the site. Why did Ray do that was the question flickering him.

"What are you a crybaby Raizon?" He asked "you have seen many arena matches aren't ya?"

"Yes, uncle"

"Do you see the champions crying for help when the situation is tense. Do you see them grunting in their own pain until their job is done?"

"No...." Replied Raizon with a depressing voice.

Ray got soften and patted Raizon on his head, rubbing his rough hands around his soft hairs.

"What is the oldest memory about me that you can remember?" Ray asked.

"Me getting lost during my kindergarten" he giggled "I can still remember how much I cried that day".

"Me too. I tried to find you everywhere. Aunt Jane's house, the lighthouse near the sea shore. Oh yeah, the lighthouse".

"That was my favourite place wasn't it? You and me, just the two of us had alot of fun there"

"I know, I know" Ray agreed "the time flew by too fast"

Raizon was suddenly struck by the act of his uncle. Why did he ignored his hug? The long lasted silence supported by the beautiful view was finally broken by Ray.

"So what have you decided, Raizon?" he asked

"Well I don't know for sure" Raizon said " it's just that I wanted to become a arena champion which is now not possible at all. If I don't receive aid from my spectra, how will I fight my battles. To be honest I'm totally devastated".

"You are weak Raizon" Ray shouted stepping on the tears.

"Wh.."

"You are weak"

"What happened Uncle. I can't understand" he fumbled "why are you acting this way"

"Because it's time to grow up Raizon. No body actually cares about others in this world. You have to do it yourself. I don't want your failure because of some crooked ass spectra. I want you to go there and get the shit beaten out of you. That's what is called losing. And don't think losing is bad my boy, it's the sign that you once tried. You didn't sit within these four walls and cried within yourself, you sweated, you bledded, and then you lost. And God knows, what if you win?" Remarked Ray.

"But my spectra?" Raizon asked

"Forget about it, burns your own hands in the fire of others, stand against the water tides of other's spectra, outgrow the green vegetation and spread the light in the dark. You can do it yourself, I know you can" Ray deceased the tone "what I am telling you now won't change your fate, you have to find your ideal yourself. But I'm just helping you to choose between what you want, consider it a last gift from your Uncle".

"What do you mean by last?"

"God knows what will happen ahead"

The dream suddenly faded after this line. It was the white washed walls of the hospital again with the machine ticking with every heart beat. He stood back up and looked at his uncle before executing his decision. Running away ignoring the beats, the shouts, the asks and the says, Raizon went for the spectral charger.

The run was hard and unstoppable until Raizon finally reached the academy. He knew the path he walked on could mean death, it could mean alot of uncertainty. But that was his path afterall, that's what he thought.

"Not every warrior get a death bed, some have to rest in the battlefields" Exclaimed Prof.Saimon who was waiting for the young boy "I knew you would come, I saw it in your eyes. See it's your decision, additionally I'm legally bounded person so I can't disagree with your decision. But he can"

The path was not yet clear, the spectral charger of the white tiger was under incharge of Drake himself. Professor told Raizon that he didn't wanted another rampage in the city due to the destroyer, so he himself seized it. He was a man not bounded by any legal rights as he had the fame and the power to dethrone anyone. The government officials, and the police themselves were useless against Drake. But the hero never misused his power until today. He kept the police and the government officials on hold and decided to see the matter himself.

But this was a bad news for Raizon. It was a threat to the determination, the resolve and the discipline Raizon prayed for. But surely this was not the end for him. He was there, at the devil's shrine itself, and that's the Drake Small house among the woods.
