My eyelids fluttered slowly, as a bright light blinded my vision. I blinked rapidly and opened my eyes.
"Ivy!"
"Mia!"
My body felt sore as I slowly came to, and I winced when I felt a sharp sensation on my abdomen.
"Ivy," Damon called.
His blurry head came into view and I blinked slowly.
"Can you hear me?" he asked.
"What happened?" I winced in pain.
I glanced around the room; it didn't look like we were in a hospital. Tara held my hand as she looked at me in worry.
"Where am I?" I asked.
"Somewhere safe," Damon replied.
A bright light came into my vision and I shut my eyes tight.
"What's going on?" I asked, fazed.
"She'll be fine," a voice said.
It sounded familiar, and I opened my eyes to see Dr. Grey staring down at me.
I sat up slowly and grunted in pain when a sharp pain stabbed my organs. I stared at the bandages wrapped around my waist and frowned.
The memories slowly came back. Damon is running out on me, and then coming back. Kyle's text and the invasion.
