Ryn opened his eyes. "Where am I?" he muttered.
Panic surged in his chest, memories of the whirlpool flashing through his mind. His hands quickly moved to his belt, fingers feeling the familiar Poké Balls. He exhaled in relief.
His eyes darted to a nearby form. Mewtwo lay there, her body motionless. Ryn rushed over, heart pounding, and checked her closely. She was only knocked out. He breathed in relief.
He recalled her into her Poké Ball, the red beam enveloping her. "Rest up," he whispered, grasping the ball tightly before clipping it back to his belt.
Ryn took a steadying breath and released his other Pokémon: Jolteon, Charmeleon, Scyther, Vaporeon, and Meowscarada.
"You guys okay?" Ryn asked.
Each Pokémon gave a nod or a soft cry, their presence calming the storm in his chest. * Where are we? * he thought.
He turned, surveying the landscape below. A dense forest stretched far, its treetops blending into misty mountains in the distance. The air felt wild and unfamiliar."
And that door…" Ryn muttered. His mind flashed to the glowing golden gate underwater.
A powerful wind suddenly shook the rock beneath Ryn's feet. He snapped his head up as a massive shadow hovered, shrouding the sun.
A colossal Dragonite broke through the clouds, its rough orange scales like ancient stone, wings like worn flags sending shockwaves with each flap.
Pebbles fell down the cliffside. Ryn's Pokémon tensed, ready to fight or flee. The Dragonite's shadow, vast as a village, darkened the landscape before it vanished into the sky, its roar echoing behind.
Before Ryn could catch his breath, a loud buzz sliced through the air. An ancient Yanmega zoomed by, its green wings shining in the sunlight, its body as big as a small plane.
Its glowing eyes met Ryn's for a moment, fierce and wild, before it dove into the forest below.
Ryn's heart pounded. "Did I… travel again?" he sighed, fear mixing with shock.
Meowscarada sighed softly, her ears drooping. * Second time now * she thought.
Ryn's mind raced. The first time he'd been pulled into another world, a strange voice had guided him with vague hints.
He cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted, "Hello? Mysterious voice, are you there….
Swish! The wind swallowed his words, leaving only silence, heavier than before.
"Alright, guys," he said, steadying himself, "let's be careful and look around." His Pokémon nodded, their eyes alert and ready.

A week later,
Ryn was still stuck in this wild, brutal land. He'd found a clear stream searching through the forest. With his Pokémon's help, he'd learned which berries were safe to eat, stretching his limited rations.
His simple shelter made of sturdy branches woven high in a massive tree was a safe haven from the dangers below. Each night, he slept with one eye open, his Pokémon taking turns keeping watch.
This world was savage. On the first day, Ryn had seen a pack of ancient Arcanine, their fiery fur blazing like wildfires, hunt down a group of ancient Teddiursa cubs.
Some distracted the mother with growls and dodges, while others struck with ruthless accuracy, dragging the cubs away.
That day, a mother's roars echoed all night. It was a grim lesson: survival here was raw, unforgiving.
He'd seen a lot of giant Pokémon since then. That colossal Dragonite, a Tyranitar like a living mountain, its roar shattering stone, and a Yanmega the size of a small plane.
Another time, a swarm of ancient Pikachu, wild and hungry, had attacked an ancient Serperior. Their quick strikes and electric bolts brought down the snake-like Pokémon.
These Pokémon fought with fierce, natural power, unlike the trained moves from the Pokémon world that relied on skill. They focused on raw strength and brutal combat.
His Pokémon tried to communicate with these wild creatures, but their odd cries and untamed instincts made it impossible.
From his tree nest, Ryn sighed, staring at the unfamiliar stars.
Meowscarada climbed up beside him, wrapping him in a gentle hug. She pressed her soft chest against his face to comfort him, having noticed his growing worry over the past few days. He has even been injured a few times.
Their strength paled compared to the wild Pokémon of this world. * I can't do much for Ryn * she thought, feeling powerless against those colossal Pokémon.
That night, Ryn relaxed a bit, and his other Pokémon did too, filling the treehouse with moans.
"Let's try west tomorrow," Ryn decided,
Next day, recalling all but Mewtwo.
Her flight and power were his best hope in this brutal land. Her Psychic could sense dangers, though some strange energy often clouded her senses.
Mewtwo soared west through the sky, carrying Ryn.
After hours of travel, Ryn's eyes caught a distant shape, an overgrown structure half-covered in vines and weathered stone.
"Another temple," he murmured, hoping this one lacked those guardian Pokémon. He'd found other temples, each guarded by a mighty Pokémon.
Maybe this one held answers, a way out of this world.
Days ago, Ryn had discovered a massive temple floating among the clouds, larger than a city, its weathered spires veiled in mist, home to the colossal Dragonite.
He and Mewtwo approached it secretly, but when they tried to enter, an invisible wall seemed to stop them. Their hearts raced as the giant Dragonite grew alert, its eyes narrowing, ready to unleash a storm.
Thinking fast, Ryn played dumb. "Oops, wrong turn!" he shouted, waving like a lost fool.
The Dragonite snorted, watching closely as he backed off, Mewtwo's Psychic quietly shielding them.
Another time, Ryn ventured north into a foul swamp, where a crumbling ruin stood guarded by the Tyranitar.
Hoping for clues, he was met with an earth-shaking roar and a blast of stone that sent him and Mewtwo stumbling.
Only his quick release of his other Pokémon saved him, their teamwork driving back the wild Pokémon swarming the area.
In the south, Ryn had sailed across the ocean and found an island, only to realize it was the shell of a massive, turtle-like Pokémon, perhaps an ancient Torterra, its back covered with trees and ruins.
A half-sunken temple there seemed empty, but its creepy silence rattled him.
He retreated, the vastness of this World sinking in. This world felt endless, far larger than any region he'd known, every step a risk.
He'd tried escaping through the sky, urging Mewtwo higher, hoping to see if the Pokémon world was nearby. If it was, he just needed to solve the oxygen problem to escape.
But an invisible wall, faintly glowing, blocked their path. Mewtwo tried to break it, but it didn't work. Teleporting failed too, so she shifted into Mega Y and unleashed a powerful Shadow Ball, the blast shaking the air.
For a moment, Ryn and Mewtwo felt countless eyes, wild and unseen, staring at them. Mewtwo teleported them away instantly, both gasping in relief.
