[3rd POV]
As it turns out, they were not up to much. Not because they weren't given missions, but because of a recent rather traumatic event that has seemingly put them out of commission for the moment.
An event involving a rather detailed and VERY realistic simulation that ended with the death of literally everyone in the team. And with how real it looked, they had all been traumatized by the end of the simulation.
Not exactly the best way to train your students. And Wanda couldn't help but wonder what they were thinking, making teenagers go through something like that, and with no warning at that.
At the very least she thought Superman would have said something against the training, as it was brutal, even for the standards of the League. Not to mention the fact that it was Batman and Martian Manhunter that had primarily been behind it.
Which is why Wanda felt a little awkward just standing in the mountain without doing anything. Because while she didn't have the best relationship with the League, she didn't have anything against the Young Justice.
In actuality she thought they were fun to mess with, so she decided that maybe it was time to help them out a bit.
She's been helping the villains out a lot recently, so why not help the kiddos?
Which is why she was now undoing her cloaking spell as Martian Manhunter and Batman stood in the middle of the training grounds of the mountain, talking about the events, and how Black Canary was going to try and be a therapist for them.
She wasn't a very good one, to be frank.
"You know, when I decided to come and mess with the kiddos again, this is not what I was expecting to see" Wanda spoke, as the two members of the League jumped when they heard her voice, heads snapping to her only to pause when they saw who it was.
"Whoa what is she doing here?" Shazam's voice echoed as he entered the area alongside Red Tornado, both of them pausing when they saw that Wanda was in the mountain.
"That is exactly what I was about to ask" Batman said, staring into Wanda's eyes as the woman just hummed, glancing at the floating holographic scenes that were showing the team at the moment.
"Well I like to mess with the kiddos every once in a while, and figured I'd come by and do it again today. Only to see them moping around like they watched a puppy get kicked" Wanda responded, glancing at the men in front of her.
"So I have to ask, what made you think that putting them through something like that was a good idea? You couldn't have really thought such a traumatic experience was good for them, right?" Wanda asked, finding this entire situation to be stupid.
She had a soft spot for kids, always had, always will. And these were a bunch of kids that were obviously not in a good place right now thanks to the training that they had just been put under.
"...We did not think that they would react in the manner they had, Lady Maximoff. And the simulation was never supposed to go so far in the first place, but my niece is..far stronger than we had anticipated, and had taken control over the simulation, making it far more traumatic then it was ever supposed to be" J'onn J'onzz responded, a somber expression on his face, knowing that what happened was partially his fault.
"Alright, I guess I can't entirely blame you for that. But...I think the way you're trying to help them might not be the best. Because seriously, Black Canary? No offense to her, but is she even a licensed therapist?" Wanda asked, not really understanding why they chose her of all people.
"No, but we believed she would be a good choice with her experience" Batman responded simply, beginning to wonder if even that was a good choice. He did know a few therapists that worked with heroes that were very very good at keeping things quiet.
Perhaps one of them would be a better choice.
"I'd suggest you get an actual therapist for the job. I'd do it personally myself, but I'm not a licensed therapist, and cannot be here long enough to help them. And I am sure you know someone that can help them better than Black Canary can" Wanda said, not wanting a bunch of traumatized kids to get what would basically be a pep talk from a hero that knows nothing about helping someone through trauma.
At least not like what a therapist can do.
"...Will do" Batman said, deciding to listen to her words this time. Mostly because they were beginning to make more and more sense, and Wanda was...not someone he really wanted to mess with.
Not when there were no plans to make that could stop her. No contingencies that could possibly work, nothing. As she would just know the second he even thought of doing it.
"Good, I'd hate to come back to mess with them more only to find out they are still depressed about a simulation" Wanda responded, a little amused when she saw the man's lip twitch in annoyance, trying to fight off the scowl from forming on his face.
"You were the one that has been messing with them, aren't you?" Martian Manhunter asked, as Wanda smiled.
"Only a little bit. Keeps them on their toes. I haven't hurt them or anything so I don't see it as a problem" Wanda responded, not even bothering to hide the fact that she had been messing with them. There was no point in acting like she hadn't been, it was obvious.
"...I guess we can't even stop you either way, just try not to harm them please" Batman said with a long drawn out sigh, wishing he was anywhere but here. Wanda was beginning to give him a headache at this point.
Something that was becoming more and more common, he fears.
"I won't, I'm not in the business of hurting kids. Now, I'll be off, and make sure they're all better before I come and mess with them next, otherwise I'll be disappointed" Wanda replied with a small smile on her face, before teleporting off.
"...She is...peculiar" Red Tornado spoke blandly after a few moments of silence.
"Yes...I am beginning to realize that now" Batman responded with a sigh, rubbing his forehead as a headache was forming from the bookstore owner who was also a nigh-omnipotent God.

Returning back to her shop, Wanda could barely hold back her laugh as she heard the final grumbles of Batman, keeping an eye on him to see his reaction to what had just gone down.
It was funny to see the man show more emotion, especially when that emotion is irritation and annoyance with her. He rarely showed emotion, so seeing any at all was certainly a treat in her eyes.
"Have fun?" Raven asked with mirth, watching her girlfriend (which made her heart flutter every time she thought of that word) walking towards her.
"Of course, love. It's impossible to not have fun when messing with the heroes of the League. But they were being rather...foolish" Wanda responded, pressing a peck against her girlfriends lips who only smiled slightly into the kiss.
"Foolish how?"
"They were going to have Black Canary acting like a therapist to a bunch of children that had just gone through a rather traumatic experience. Mind you, she is not a therapist and knows nothing about working with children in that way" Wanda responded, as Raven could only deadpan at the explanation.
"The more I hear about the League the more I wonder how they have functioned this long without falling apart" Raven replied, as Wanda chuckled.
"I believe that it is mostly due to the aid of Batman. That man is single handedly holding them together, and without him they'd be screwed" Wanda responded, fully confident that he was the primary reason why the Justice League hadn't been torn apart by now.
"Huh, I guess if it was anyone keeping them together, he is the one that makes the most sense" Raven said, agreeing that Batman was likely why they hadn't been ruined by now.
He was really good at making sure the team didn't tear into one another constantly. Even if he didn't openly intervene in their spats.
"Well, moving on from the League, did anything interesting happen while I was gone?" Wanda asked, sitting into her chair behind the counter like always. Raven shook her head.
"Nothing, it was pretty quiet the entire time, besides a couple of regulars visiting" Raven replied, and before Wanda could respond, the door to the shop opened, as they both turned to it.
Only for Wanda to raise an eyebrow at who she saw entering. For the one that entered was the one and only...
Peter Parker
