On the night Gu Yan was discharged from the hospital, Yan Shuo hurriedly finished dealing with company matters to come back and have dinner with her.
Gu Yan adapted to the new home quickly. After all, as long as she thought of it as her own home, she felt a sense of peace and comfort.
Now she not only had family but a home too.

At the dinner table, Yan Shuo said to Gu Yan, "I've found you for quite some time, and it's long been impossible to keep it from Grandpa. Initially, because you were hospitalized, we didn't want to worry him and kept delaying. Now that you're discharged and healthy, it's time to go see him."
Gu Yan paused her eating and looked up at him, "Do I have to go?"
