Melody lifted her head, wiped away her tears, and couldn't help but ask upon seeing Nathan Nelson's solemn expression.
"It's nothing." Nathan withdrew his gaze, took a tissue and wiped Melody's tears, "Let's go inside."

The once expansive Nelson family home had been emptied out within a few days.
The servants were dismissed, the precious decorations in the hall had been taken by the bank, and in the vast hall, only an empty sofa remained.
Seeing this scene, Melody's eyes reddened, and she almost started crying again.
She held back her tears, a question surfacing in her heart: "Nathan, have you seen Iris Harris recently? Where has she gone? She didn't even come to see Mommy when she passed away."
