The next morning, Mu Yan received a call from Yin Manqing.
"Did you know that Zhuang Chujiao came to Upper City?"
Mu Yan frowned slightly, "What's wrong?"
"She stayed at the mansion last night and came to the company early this morning to confront Jing Heng. That sister of yours may seem impulsive and thoughtless, but she has a lot of schemes. She didn't miss a chance to badmouth you during dinner with us last night."
"I trust Jing Heng," Mu Yan stated directly.
Yin Manqing's tone was somewhat brusque, "I know you two are still in the honeymoon phase and think the other is the only one. But men are the most fickle; even the smartest men can act foolish in front of a woman. Many things just happen; don't be too naive."
Mu Yan felt her tone seemed as if she had experienced it herself.
