Jiang Jingheng stayed at the hospital until around ten o'clock before leaving. As he was about to go, Mu Yan saw him off downstairs and stuffed several shopping bags into his hands.
Jiang Jingheng frowned and said, "Wear it if you bought it, don't save money on me."
He thought she wanted him to take the clothes home and hang them up.
"I'd love to wear them, but with such a big difference in height and body shape between us, I can't fit into them." Mu Yan laughed.
Jiang Jingheng looked at her, dazed, seemingly not understanding what she meant.
Amused by his bewildered look, Mu Yan leaned close to his ear and said, "Try them on at home and remember to take a photo for me."
After saying this, she turned and headed towards the elevator.
Jiang Jingheng stood where he was, watching her back disappear at the doorway, a gentle hue appearing in his hazel eyes.
He glanced down at the shopping bags in his hand, his palms warming up.
