Qin Xi looked at Ning Ze with an accusatory expression on his face, and for a moment, she felt like she was really terrible.
But for the two of them to continue entangling themselves because of yesterday's accident was completely unnecessary.
She smiled slightly and said, "We're all adults here, and unexpected things happen—it's actually quite normal."
Saying this, she herself felt a bit guilty.
Ning Ze looked at her, sneering, "I'm not that kind of casual person."
Qin Xi felt a tingling on her scalp from his stare; she coughed lightly and said, "It's me who was too casual, I'm the one who wronged you."
"Your apology lacks sincerity!" Ning Ze scoffed coldly.
Qin Xi was momentarily speechless and looked at him, "What would count as sincere?"
Ning Ze suddenly stood up, leaned over the table toward her, and said slowly, "What do you think?"
Qin Xi couldn't help wanting to retreat, but sitting on the chair, she had nowhere to go.
She bit her lip and said, "What do you want?"
