It's unclear how much time passed.
Tongtong's crying gradually subsided.
Mia Ginger pursed her lips, stepped forward, and handed her a tissue.
"Thank you," Tongtong said softly.
"It's nothing," Mia smiled, sat down next to her, and comforted, "Once you've cried, just let it be. Matters of the heart can't be forced. Tears that aren't cherished aren't worth much; no matter how much you cry, they don't help."
Tongtong was silent for a moment and said helplessly, "You're really not good at comforting people."
"Hmm," Mia smiled, "I rarely comfort people."
"I really dislike Windsor Myres," Tongtong bit her lip, both aggrieved and angry.
"She can be quite annoying, but she has her charms too. It depends on the perspective. If I were you, I probably wouldn't like her either," Mia shrugged.
"But she's your good friend."
"We didn't become friends until after a disagreement."
Tongtong looked at her, nodded, then fell into silence again.
