Isabella Yates and Amy never expected to run into the big boss of the Golden Era Consortium while shopping at the mall.
Instinctively, Isabella glanced behind Asher Land, and sure enough, Sophie Smith was there, but she hadn't noticed Isabella and Amy.
She was at another counter selecting clothes, wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses, and a mask, fully disguised.
Asher Land was accompanying Sophie for shopping, but then he spotted Isabella Yates.
Heh, yes, he was here for revenge; he had always been someone who would repay a grudge.
He took the shoes Isabella was about to pay for, looked at them for a couple of seconds, and then glanced at Isabella again.
"How come I feel like these shoes don't really match you?"
Isabella looked down, not knowing what Asher Land meant by that.
"Nice shoes should go with nice people."
Isabella's face turned red then white, extremely embarrassed. So Asher was just indirectly saying she was ugly.
