"Luke Land."
"So, why didn't you answer?"
Sophie Smith vaguely felt he was avoiding something.
Asher Land seemed unwilling to say more on this topic. He got out of the car and sat in the driver's seat.
He started the engine and reversed the car out of the garage.
There was joy and excitement in Sophie Smith's eyes. Seeing how skillfully he drove, she thought his left arm must have recovered.
"Where are you living now?" he asked.
"Oh." She quickly gave him the address of her single apartment.
About an hour and a half later, the car stopped downstairs at her apartment building.
Sophie sat in the car, thinking about what she should say to him now.
Why is it that after four years of not seeing him, she feels she can't even talk to him normally?
"Aren't you going to invite me upstairs?" He turned to look at her sitting quietly in the back seat, raising his lips slightly. "If there is another man in your apartment, then I won't go in."
