Aira instantly dashed forward, pulling the projectile out before going ahead to heal her mother with her ability.
She knew Liora didn't mean it as she watched her stumble back in alarm, and she also cooled down, aware that the wound wasn't life-threatening.
Even if it was, her mother was human, and she would be in no danger of dying while she was around.
But barely had she begun to heal her wound when her mother slowly began to wail.
"No!" She begged and pleaded like a child.
"Please! Don't heal me!" She begged. "Let me die! Let me die!" Her screams grew louder the more she spoke, even as she tried to avoid Aira's hands.
Let me join my master! she screamed in an almost manic way that terrified Aira, who had healed her, and Liora, who stood right behind her, shaking as she stared at her hands.
