Claire arrived at the Watson Castle 7:00 PM right on time.
Today was Dean's first day out of the hospital, and to celebrate, she'd picked up a bouquet of fresh flowers on the way.
The castle was brilliantly lit, and many servants were bustling about.
As soon as Claire stepped inside, she began searching for Dean.
She had no interest in anything else here. Every second, every minute, she only wanted to spend it with her child.
As long as her child was well, she would be too.
"Claire, tomorrow's my birthday. Gilbert is throwing a party for me. Since you're here, I'll invite you too," Emma said smugly, blocking her path on the staircase.
Claire's lips curled faintly. She replied coolly, "Sorry, I have work. I'm only here to take care of Dean."
Would this woman really invite her out of kindness? Of course not. She just wanted to find a way to humiliate her. Claire wasn't about to fall into her trap.
