"I'm sorry, Dean. Auntie was held up by something this time. I promise I won't be late again," Claire immediately crouched down in front of Dean and apologized softly, her voice full of guilt.

"Auntie, did that bad guy bully you again today?" Dean gently touched Claire's bruised cheek, his voice filled with concern.
