As soon as Bonnie spoke, the entire scene seemed to fall into sudden silence.
The director, already overwhelmed and clutching his phone, stared at her in disbelief, thinking he must have misheard. "What did you just say?"
Bonnie calmly repeated, "I said I'll arrange a plane."
Booker couldn't withstand any more jolting, and time was critical. Air transport was by far the safest and most efficient solution.
The director was stunned for a moment, then jolted to life. "R-Really? But I heard that transferring a large aircraft from another route requires approval from the airline's headquarters, it has to go through corporate authorization."
"Headquarters?" Bonnie had already taken out her phone. Her brow arched slightly as she replied coolly, "I'm right here. What's there to request permission for?"
The director froze again, and then it hit him. This woman in front of him wasn't just a guest. She was the CEO of Skywing Airlines.
Goosebumps rippled up his arms.
