When Loyalty Refuses to Kneel
Leons jaw got really tight. You could feel the anger in him it was like a storm that was about to happen. Leons anger was not out of control. It was definitely there pushing down on all the soldiers who were standing around him. It was like the air was heavy, with Leons anger and everyone could feel it.
For a moment nobody dared look at him. People scraped their boots on the ground. Some people got a little nervous and swallowed hard then they tried to act like nothing was wrong. The wind even seemed to stop and think before it started blowing.
He finally spoke up. Said "You had my orders."
The words came out quietly but they meant a lot. His voice was not as loud as it was before. It was also kind of sharper. It was like a knife being pulled out slowly. That was really scary. The words were, like a threat, not a lot of noise.
