Chapter 560: The Origin of the Three Kings, Appearing Infinitely!
"Back then, after I created Pluton, the Three Kings officially came into being," the First Generation said slowly.
"At the time, Poseidon and Uranus were still very weak."
"But I planted the King's genes into their bodies."
"So I knew they would grow stronger and stronger…"
…
On the sea.
"My lord… Lord Joy Boy, where are we going on our adventure today?" a beautiful woman asked, standing close beside the man. Her eyes were bright with anticipation.
"That underwater place I visited before was so fun!"
"Rin, can you act like a lady for once?" the man said, his face twisted as he forced himself to hold back his temper.
"You're a girl. A perfect girl."
"But I really want to see other things!" Rin protested immediately, pouting without the slightest shame.
Then, as if she suddenly remembered something, her big eyes widened.
"By the way, Your Majesty… Lord Joy Boy. What did you mean when you said you were leaving?"
She stared at him as if she was afraid that if she blinked, he would vanish.
"Yes," the man answered.
"I'm leaving."
He did not explain further. Instead, he smoothly changed the subject.
"Didn't you say you wanted to see other places?"
"Come on. Let's set off now."
"Yay!" Rin cheered, instantly forgetting the heaviness in the air.
She spun around and dashed toward another stunning girl.
"We can go see other places again, Sister Mio! Lord Joy Boy said he'll take us to other places!"
"Mm," Mio responded, her tone calm.
She was the complete opposite of Rin. Every smile, every movement, carried a quiet charm, refined and intelligent.
Compared to Rin's lively mischief, Mio's gentleness felt like moonlight.
It really was as if God had crafted them both with deliberate favoritism.
"Honestly, Lord Joy Boy," Mio said, shaking her head faintly, though her eyes softened. "You spoil her too much."
"At this rate, I won't be able to control her anymore."
"Ignore her," the man replied.
"She belongs to the sea, the Sea King."
"And you belong to the sky, the Heavenly King."
"So after I leave, you can go live the lives you want."
The moment those words fell, a flicker of pain passed through Mio's eyes.
It was deep, sharp, and quickly hidden.
She did not let it show.
At the same time, Rin had already leapt into the sea without hesitation.
The water surged.
A giant Sea King rose beneath her, massive enough to blot out the waves.
Rin stood proudly atop its head like a triumphant child who had just claimed her throne.
Those enormous Sea Kings were not here to hunt or destroy.
They were used as beasts of burden.
Because the ship they were towing was none other than Hades.
It was not that Hades lacked power.
It was the opposite.
Pluton was simply too fast.
This was a trip, not a race.
So the Sea Kings were pulling the ship instead, letting the journey stretch out like a lazy adventure.
Mio stepped closer to the man, her expression filled with confusion.
"Why must we call you Joy Boy?"
"In my eyes, it's completely unnecessary."
Even now, even when no one was watching, she and Rin were still being made to use that title.
And now he was saying he would leave soon.
Mio wanted to understand the reason behind everything.
"Because I am Joy Boy," the man said, his voice heavy with meaning.
"Even though you were born because of me, it is also because you exist that I carry the name Joy Boy."
"Now that I possess it, my original name should be discarded."
Mio could not understand.
The words sounded profound, but the meaning slipped through her fingers like mist.
She hesitated, then asked softly, "Then when you leave… will I still be able to…"
"Impossible," the man interrupted before she could finish.
Mio paused, then nodded.
Because whatever he chose, he could not be wrong.
And if things had already reached this point, there had to be a reason.
All she could do was listen.
"All right, Mio," the man said, his voice easing slightly.
"It's not like I'm never coming back."
"Once I find that existence, I'll return and take you all with me."
"You… wait for me."
"That's what Joy Boy said directly."
"Mm," Mio answered.
She tied up her hair, turned away, and went into the kitchen to prepare food as if everything was normal.
From the outside, it looked like a free spirited adventurer sailing the seas with two lovers.
But both Mio and Rin understood.
He really was leaving.
…
Several months later.
"Mm?"
Joy Boy suddenly lifted his head and looked into the sky.
A terrifying presence pressed down from above.
"Rin. Mio," he called quickly.
"Pluton still has no consciousness of its own."
"It needs your care."
"I'll go take a look first."
"If I don't come back, you can live your own lives."
After speaking, he shot upward in a straight line, like a blade tearing open the heavens.
When he reached higher, a massive dark shadow filled his vision.
A continent.
A whole continent drifting through space, slowly drawing closer.
"A continent?" Joy Boy muttered, stunned despite himself.
"Why would there be a continent in outer space?"
His doubt was mostly curiosity.
With his current strength, even something as absurd as this did not feel truly threatening.
Then the impact came.
Boom.
The collision shook the void.
Cosmic dust scattered.
When it cleared, Joy Boy's body appeared again, untouched.
The attack had not harmed him at all.
"Life form detected on the locked planet!"
"Initiate elimination plan!"
A cold electronic voice echoed through space, distorted as if it came from a machine built to judge life itself.
Then, from that dark continent, countless monsters crawled out.
They were enormous, their bodies covered in spikes.
Their mouths were filled with sharp teeth.
Their claws looked like they could tear steel like paper.
They were shaped for one purpose only.
Killing.
"Seriously?" Joy Boy sighed.
"So this kind of farce exists out here too?"
He raised his hand.
A longsword formed in his grip.
"Heavenly Zero."
A powerful, unique force spread outward from him.
Any monster that entered that area disintegrated instantly.
Not sliced.
Not crushed.
Erased, as if their very existence had been wiped clean.
Boom.
A long spear suddenly pierced through the force field.
It shattered the pressure like glass and arrived right in front of Joy Boy.
The shockwave blasted away the surrounding dust and mist.
And the enemy finally revealed itself.
"The Spear of Longinus," Joy Boy said, his eyes narrowing.
Then, instead of fear, a strange joy rose in his expression.
"You must be Adam."
He was not surprised.
He was pleased.
The one Joy Boy had been waiting for was Adam.
The Child of God.
The key to unlocking eternity.
This was why he had come here.
"Mm?" Adam's voice was flat, almost mechanical.
"No one should know of my existence other than God."
"Since you are not a god, you must be eliminated."
He spoke like a pre programmed weapon, executing an order etched into his bones.
Joy Boy did not find it strange.
If anything, it felt natural.
Whether god or human, tools were made to obey.
Only the tools made by God were far more terrifying.
Boom boom boom boom…
Before Joy Boy could think further, Adam's attacks had already arrived.
That enormous black continent continued drifting closer and closer toward Blue Sea.
Each thrust of the Spear of Longinus carried a killing intent that felt like it was aimed at Joy Boy's very essence.
Even someone as powerful as him felt danger from those strikes.
He could not afford to take a direct hit.
If he did, things would become troublesome.
