I watched Leonard gulp down the water and pills after washing his hands so thoroughly that I feared his skin would peel off. Left to me, I wouldn't send Leonard to a place as dangerous as this. The fact that both my parents were kidnapped just to get access to him showed their desperation, and how far they were willing to go to have both Leonard and Nicole.
But why?
This question re-sounded in my head with so much fear that I considered backing out right away. In no time, Leonard would be asleep, and the completion of this rescue mission will be determined by me. That will be my chance to drive Leonard back to his mansion. Even though I desperately needed to rescue my parents, there must be another way besides endangering Leonard's life to save my parents'.
Should everything go well, it will be perfect but what will happen if everything doesn't go as planned? This is crazy, I thought, and made my decision. I'll look for another way to rescue my parents.
