Edward looked at Ivy and asked, "Do you need something?"
Ivy shook her head and said calmly, "No. I was just passing by and saw two rice packets and some dried vegetables outside your door. I thought I should remind you...this isn't the best time to leave food out in the open. Someone might steal it."
Edward frowned in confusion. "But… I didn't leave any food outside."
Without saying a word, Ivy bent down and picked up the rice packets and dried vegetables, holding them up.
Edward's eyes widened. He was stunned. "That… that's not mine," he said slowly.
Just then, the little girl peeked out from behind Edward. She gasped when she saw the food in Ivy's hands and pointed at it with excitement.
"Daddy! That's the magical ingredient! You can make the magic dish now!"
Ivy's lips curved into a gentle smile. "Yes, it is. You were waiting for it, right?"
Before Edward could respond, Ivy shoved the bags into his hands.
