Black flames crept along Kaido's Oni Fire—spreading toward him.

He cut off the breath attack. Wings beat frantically—barely dodging as the black flames fell toward the ocean.
Kaido exhaled.
No matter how powerful.
His thoughts came confident.
Once they hit the sea, they'll extinguish.
The next moment shattered that confidence.
Impossible Flames
The pitch-black Amaterasu flames hit the water.
Didn't extinguish.
Burned brighter.
As if the ocean itself was fuel.
"DAMN IT!"
Fierce determination flashed in Kaido's eyes. Wings slammed downward—stirring towering waves that crashed over the flames.
Buried them beneath the sea.

A pillar of black fire erupted from underwater.
Spread across the surface. More violently than before.
"What... what ARE these flames!?"
Horror filled Kaido's voice.
They burn on water!
Water FUELS them!
This defies everything!
Amaterasu's Nature
In the Naruto world, Amaterasu earned its reputation:
"Strongest physical attack."
"Flames that can never be extinguished."
A Mangekyō Sharingan technique that burned targets to absolute nothing. Wouldn't stop until the target was gone.
Could consume anything. Even water—fire's natural counter—became fuel for Amaterasu.
In the seconds Kaido stood frozen, the flames spread.
Thanks to his own waves.
The tsunami he'd created carried Amaterasu across a massive area. What would've taken minutes happened in moments.
Pirate Panic
"The ship's ON FIRE!"
A pirate vessel caught the black flames.
"Jump! JUMP INTO THE SEA!"
Pirates dove overboard.
Didn't know Amaterasu burned beneath the surface too.
One pirate hit the water. Relief flashed across his face for half a second.
Then black flames attached to his body.
He burned to nothing. Not even ash remained.
The pirates still on deck froze.
Can't jump.
Can't stay.
What do we—
"GEPPO!" Someone shouted. "Use Geppo! Stay in the AIR!"
Eyes lit up across the fleet.
Right!
Feet kicked against air. Pirates launched skyward using the Marine Six Powers technique.
Why do pirates know Marine techniques?
Simple answer: the principles weren't secret. Anyone strong enough could figure them out through observation.
And Kaido only summoned crews with 300 million berry bounties minimum. Vice Admiral-level fighters. They'd all learned Geppo.
Just usually too proud to use Marine techniques.
Pride doesn't matter when you're burning alive.
Kai's Mercy
Kai watched pirates escape into the air.
Amaterasu can't threaten them anymore.
His Rinnegan rotated slowly. Black flames across the ocean vanished—drawn back into his eyes.
One technique.
Most of the pirate fleet: destroyed.
Casualties: devastating.
Marine Assault
Onigumo saw the opening.
Pirate morale shattered.
Marine morale soaring.
Doberman raised his sword high.
"MARINES!" His voice rang across the battlefield. "KILL ALL THESE PIRATES!"
He kicked off with Geppo—shot toward the enemy fleet.
Onigumo and Strawberry followed. Every Marine officer capable of air-walking launched.
Warships surged forward. Closed distance.
Boarding battles began.
Kaido's Desperation
Purple-black flames erupted across Kaido's body.
Wings folded. His hundreds-of-meters-long form became a black cannonball hurtling toward Kai's warship.
Bigger than the ship itself.
One hit would destroy it.
Even Admiral-class construction. Even seastone plating.
Wouldn't matter.
"White Dragon Admiral!" The helmsman's voice cracked with panic. "We can't turn in time—what do we DO!?"
Kai smiled at him.
Didn't answer.
Just raised his right hand. Fingers spread. Palm facing the incoming dragon.
"Think you can stop me with PHYSICAL STRENGTH!?"
Kaido's roar came savage. Face twisted with fury.
"Don't be RIDICULOUS! In black dragon form, my power is TEN TIMES that old bastard Whitebeard's!"
The distance closed to nothing.
Impact imminent.
Then Kai's expression shifted—disdain replacing calm.
"Is just this much power enough to make you proud, Kaido?"
His smile turned mocking.
"Besides..." His tone stayed light. Almost amused. "...when did I say I was using physical strength?"
