"Wow. I didn't really know you would do this." Xavier voiced calmly as he reached for pepper to add to his food. He heard Killian groan but he ignored it. Dude was always groaning anyway.
"How far would this go, Elena? These things aren't necessary." Killian uttered, staring blankly at Elena.
Elena sighed. These men were so stubborn. Did she really have to explain this over and over again?
She raked her finger through her hair then began, "Yes, this is necessary. The three of us." She pointed at herself, then at Xavier and Killian, and then back to herself. "We have to get used to each other if this has to work. I don't want to reject Killian and I cannot reject Xavier even if I wanted to. I've said this before, please understand."
