"Romantic?!" Boo interrupted excitedly. "Ooooh, tell him that part!"
Felix leaned closer, whispering, "Maybe the teacher will be your new stepmom."
Boo gasped, covering his mouth. "Oh my ghost!"
Drake choked on his juice. "Stepmom teacher?!"
Luna slammed her paw on the table. "Stop it! Teacher belongs to us!"
"Yes, yes, Lucien!" Drake said, bouncing in his seat, his tail wagging like a happy puppy. "You're going to tell your dad so Teacher can belong to you alone! Ah—nooo!" He laughed so hard he almost fell off his chair, his tongue sticking out playfully.
Lucien gave him a flat look, his calm expression completely unamused. "Drake, that's not what I said."
"Sure, sure," Felix teased, grinning. "But that's exactly what it sounded like."
Lucien sighed. "You all have way too much free time."
