Chapter 110 - Chapter 110: A Headache for Flower-sis

Wig Guy: Gintoki?

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: No use calling him. Gin-san's been muted. He can't reply.

Wig Guy: Muted? What's that?

Doujin Artist: Kind of like someone stuffing a rag in your mouth so you can't talk in the group.

Wig Guy: A rag? That's horrible! Totally unacceptable! Who dared insult a noble samurai like this?!

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: That's Anzen-san.

Shark-Faced Guy: Only the group owner has the right to mute people.

Doujin Artist: Wig Guy, are you trying to stand up for Gin?

Wig Guy: What are you talking about? I just think using a rag is a waste! I suggest switching to a foot towel instead. I feel like Gintoki and a foot towel are a perfect match!

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Pfft.

Doujin Artist: Knew it. Chickened out in seconds!

Scarlet Lotus Fairy: Gin probably wants to smash your face in right now.

Soul Society's Villain: Wig Guy, what do you mean by "Aizen virus" earlier?

Wig Guy: Hm? Who are you?

Amegakure Village's Angel: She's Captain Unohana Retsu from Squad 4 of the Soul Society. She just joined the group today.

Wig Guy: A newcomer? A newcomer! That means I, Kotaro Katsura, am finally a senior now? Hahahahaha!

Doujin Artist: What's there to be proud of about that?

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Unohana just joined the group a little later than you, but in reality she's the true veteran here.

Wig Guy: Hmph, at the end of the day, she's just an old woman.

Doujin Artist: You actually said it! You said the one thing you shouldn't have! Apologize now!

Shark-Faced Guy: Mr. Katsura, that was really rude.

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Seriously, that was way out of line!

Soul Society's Villain: It's alright, everyone. Thanks for sticking up for me, but I don't really care about those titles. Now then, Mr. Katsura, could you answer this old lady's question?

Wig Guy: Since you asked so nicely, I, your senior, will generously give you the answer! [Image]

Amegakure Village's Angel: This is...

The image was a newspaper with the headline: "The Remade Fireworks Alley – Yoshiwara." Below the headline was a photo of Aizen, dressed in white with a long sword at his waist, standing in the middle of Yoshiwara's central tower, looking into the distance.

Doujin Artist: This Aizen guy really goes all in. He shut down Yoshiwara's flesh trade permanently? Doesn't that mean the whole underground street is done for?

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: I'm curious, why would he do that?

Shark-Faced Guy: That's something you'd have to ask Aizen himself.

Soul Society's Villain: Is that really Captain Aizen?

Unlike the others who were focused on the content of the article, Unohana's attention was entirely on the photo.

The face did look somewhat like the Aizen from their Soul Society, but the age didn't seem to match, and this one wasn't wearing glasses.

Wig Guy: Hah? You think I'd mistake him? That guy looks exactly like the Aizen from the Naruto world!

Soul Society's Villain: Naruto world?

Amegakure Village's Angel: Unohana probably hasn't had time to check the memory list. The world I live in is the Naruto world.

Doujin Artist: *Ahem.* According to Gin's investigation, Aizens have been appearing in these worlds because of something called the Aizen virus. No idea if that's true, but that's what he said.

Eriri figured that Unohana probably wouldn't be as easy to fool as Wig Guy. After all, in the original Bleach story, she was already suspicious of Kyoka Suigetsu.

Why did Captain Aizen become a virus? What's going on?

Unohana frowned. She figured the most important thing right now was to study the memory list carefully. With that thought, she quickly opened the menu.

A few seconds later, after receiving the data about the other worlds, her expression turned grim.

Hogyoku, Arrancars, the truth behind Urahara Kisuke's betrayal decades ago… She honestly hadn't expected that calm, gentle-talking Captain Aizen was actually the biggest traitor hiding inside the Soul Society.

But then, why was Aizen appearing in the Naruto and Gintama worlds too? Had he broken away from the original storyline and created a way to travel between worlds? Even if he could travel worlds, why did his body shrink?

So many questions filled Unohana's mind. She kept ruling out different ideas, but new ones kept coming.

Meanwhile, in the Gintama world—

"This is bad, real bad!"

Gintoki looked at the chat log with a panicked face and shouted, "That idiot Eriri actually tried to trick Unohana with the nonsense I used to fool Wig Guy?! She's totally not gonna fall for that!"

"Yeah," Aizen said calmly, still looking up at the sky like nothing was wrong, "Captain Unohana definitely isn't as easy to fool as Mr. Katsura."

The old underground Yoshiwara had no view of the sky. It was always covered in darkness. The first thing Aizen did after taking over was to open up the ceiling.

"If she keeps digging, won't our cover be blown?" Gintoki scratched his head, clearly annoyed. "Damn it, that Aririn ruined everything!"

"It's *your* plan, not mine. I was just playing along. But I don't think it'll be exposed that quickly."

Aizen glanced at him and said calmly, "Your so-called virus theory is full of holes, but even someone like Captain Unohana would need a lot of time to uncover the whole truth on her own."

"That so? Then it's not too bad." Gintoki let out a sigh of relief. "But why shut down the sex trade in Yoshiwara? Is there some deeper meaning behind it?"

"No. I just want them to be people again, not things." Aizen looked up at the sky once more.

A bright red sun hung high in the sky.
