The village of Tatrias was in shambles,news had spread about a young man who was found at the low shores of their river.An old couple had found him there unconscious but alive,he was badly injured but held onto life with a strong grip.
He was immediately rushed to the village medic,where he received or so they were told.
Danyi stared at her patient with bewilderment his injuries were to severe,beyond her capacity and yet hours later she finds him,fully recovered,sleeping soundless unaffected by the outside world,to enchanted by his dreams.
Her emerald green eyes stared at his form,he was fully recovered,no scar left,no trace of whatever he went through.She wondered how on the gods names did he get so injured.Her pointed ears perked up.
"This human is quite strange,"Her voice was like a melody in the wind.
She approached him,her hand coated with a green layer,she traced her hand over his body,examining it internally.
"All his vitals are healed with no internal bleeding whatsoever,no trace of his injuries,its as though it didn't happen at all,but what could have caused such grave wounds,"
The more Danyi thought the less sense the whole situation made sense,How did a human walk through the gale forest and come out alive with wounds inflicted by people and not beasts.As she continued to try to make sense of the situation she didn't notice Alistair's fluttering open,with a grunt he got up,clutching his head in pain with a confused expression written all over his face.
'Shouldn't I be dead?',he looked round until his blood red crimson eyes landed on Danyi,he looked at her for a couple of seconds taking in her appearance with a critical eye.
"Who are you lady?"his voice was grunted,it sounded forced,as though the user was testing it out or was he simply thirty?we'll never know.
"Am Danyi Vanel,This village's medic,"
Danyi stared at him with a curious gaze,those crimson red eyes drew her in,in ways she couldn't quite understand,it took a bit of effort to look away.
"Do you remember anything young man,like what happened or how you got here,"
Alistair dug deep into his mind trying to remember anything that he could use to make him look less suspicious,but his mind was fragmented,he show images with no faces heard sounds with no direction until he landed on a particular clear memory,his name and goal in that forsaken place.
"Am Alistair Vesperion, an explorer,I was wandering the gale forest when I was attacked by bandits,I had to run away and fell of a cliff nearby luckily there was a river below,"
Alistair had quickly came up with a full proof lie about its situation with the fragmented memories he had,but nothing goes as planned because at the mere mention of the name Vesperion Danyi's eyes darkned,a flicker of malice and anger rose from her core but she masked it,Alistair misunderstood her expression thinking she was mad at the cruelty of the bandits.
Suddenly the doors burst open,and a young girl with golden blonde hair and pale blue eyes entered the room
"Mummy am back!!"
The young girl squealed in excitement as she rushed and hugged Danyi's legs tight,her sudden intrusion and palpable enthusiasm broke the tense atmosphere of the room,Alistair breathed a sigh of relief subconscious,he's shoulders slumped and he relaxed onto the bed while trying to make sense of the situation he was in.
'So I died and got transmigrated into another world with elf people in it,'
Alistair thought long and hard but got interrupted when he felt warmth enveloping he's hand,he opened his eyes and stared at the little girl who was looking at him with childlike curiosity.
"What's your name mister?,am Alex that's what my friends call me but am full name is Alexandria,"
Alexandria stared at Alistair with open curiosity wanting to understand who and what Alistair was since he was so different from her.
'He has small eyes,they are not pointed like mine or mum's,he must be another race'
Alexandria's thoughts were all over the place,this was a moment of discovery for her,her smile grew wider and wider as she awaited Alistair to speak.
"Am Alistair Vesperion,You can call me Al and I can call you Alex deal?"
"Yes!,yes a thousand yes,I'll call you Al from now on big brother,"
"Just call me Al not big brother okay?"
"Okay I'll call you Al only Al but I still want to call you big brother can I pleasse,"
Alex unleashed her puppy dog eyes and even formed a bit of tears,with this unfair attack Alistair could only mumble and nod in agreement with her request
