Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: End of tThe Tournament; A Promise Fulfilled

Chapter 5: End of the Tournament

Goku (in mastered Ultra Instinct Form) and Jiren unfolds with Goku seemingly defeating Jiren with a well timed Kamehameha wave. When Goku stood to deliver the final blow to finish the fight as he stood over Jiren, He froze the energy of the divine form catching up to him as his stamina was now gone. Jiren disappointed was urged to finish the match by knocking out Goku. But.... Goku was saved by FREEZA?! Freeza looked towards Odyn, knowing that the Blazing Arkynorean had a plan to defeat Jiren... the fusion dance. He would distract Jiren, just until the fusion was complete. Goku, nearly out of strength was given energy by the tyrant of all people. That was... unexpected.

Odyn and Goku then preformed the technique as Freeza held off Jiren for the moment before Jiren knocked Freeza out of the ring, thus eliminating him. A powerful force then caught Jiren's attention. There was a new face... the fusion of Goku and Odyn who was in a form somewhere between a mix of the Blazing Arkynorean and Ultra Insctinct: Godyn!

The climactic scene unfolded dramatically as Jiren faced a stunning reversal. What should have been his moment of victory over an exhausted Goku transformed into something unprecedented.

Frieza's unexpected intervention bought precious seconds. The tyrant, for once putting aside his ego, turned to Odyn with a knowing smirk. "Well, boy? I believe this is your cue. Show us what happens when divine heritage meets Saiyan potential."

As Frieza engaged Jiren in a desperate holding action, Goku and Odyn took their positions. The fusion dance began - their movements perfectly synchronized despite Goku's exhaustion. Odyn's Blazing Arkynorean form created patterns of divine energy that seemed to stabilize Goku's depleted state just long enough to complete the technique.

"FU...SION...HA!"

A blinding explosion of silver and blue light erupted just as Frieza was knocked from the arena. When the light faded, a new warrior stood before Jiren. Godyn's appearance was striking - silver hair with streaks of Ultra Instinct's characteristic white glow, eyes that shifted between molten gold and silver, and an aura that combined the reality-warping properties of the Blazing Arkynorean with the serene power of Ultra Instinct.

The fusion's voice carried harmonics of both divine energy and mortal determination as it addressed Jiren: "Two paths to transcendence, now unified. Shall we see how your power measures against this?"

The void arena trembled as Godyn's power continued to build, the fusion's aura creating patterns that seemed to exist in multiple dimensions at once.

Everyone watching stood there slackjawed in shock as they witnessed a battle of epic proprtions between Godyn [The fusion of Goku and Odyn] and Jiren ensued, especially universe 11 who felt sure Jiren had won against Goku this.. was unexpected and shocking. While they seemed evenly matched at first, Jiren and universe 11 knew better.. Godyn was just toying with him, gaging his opponent to his how much power he needed to use.

It reminded them of Vegito a little bit. But unlike the saiyan potara fusion of Goku and Vegeta, Godyn eventually decided to end the match by showing Jiren his best was stronger than the universe 11 warrior's best. This of course excited the Zeno's as they witnessed a breathtaking display of power unleashed by Godyn that ultimately defeated Jiren and knocked him out of the ring, eliminating him and ending the tournament.

The scale of power being displayed left even the gods speechless. Godyn moved with a fluidity that seemed to transcend normal physics, each motion leaving trails of divine energy mixed with Ultra Instinct's silvery glow. The fusion's playful testing of Jiren's limits was reminiscent of Vegito's confidence, but carried an otherworldly grace that spoke to Odyn's Arkynorean heritage.

"Impressive," Godyn's harmonious voice echoed through the void. "But now... let's show you what true transcendent power looks like."

The fusion's power suddenly skyrocketed, combining the raw force of Ultra Instinct with the reality-warping properties of the Blazing Arkynorean form. The void arena warped and twisted under the pressure as Godyn's silver and gold aura expanded, creating patterns that seemed to write themselves into the fabric of reality.

Jiren, despite his immense power, found himself overwhelmed by this perfect fusion of mortal and divine might. Each of Godyn's strikes carried not just physical force, but seemed to bend the laws of physics themselves.

The Zenos bounced excitedly in their seats. "Amazing! Amazing!" they chanted in unison, thoroughly entertained by this unprecedented display of power.

The final strike came as a combination attack that merged a Kamehameha with Odyn's divine energy manipulation. The beam twisted through space itself, curving around Jiren's defenses before sending him flying from the arena.

As Jiren materialized in the stands, the reality of Universe 11's defeat settled in. The Tournament of Power had reached its conclusion, with Universe 7 emerging victorious through an unexpected fusion of Ultra Instinct and Blazing Arkynorean power.

The cosmic arena fell silent as the light from Godyn's final attack faded into the infinite void. Even the Grand Priest's usually stoic expression betrayed a hint of awe at what had transpired. The fusion between Goku and the Arkynorean warrior Odyn had demonstrated something beyond mere power – it was a convergence of different fundamental forces of reality itself.

As the Zenos continued their excited chattering, Godyn descended to the arena's remaining platform, their silver-gold aura still rippling with untapped potential. The fusion's face bore a serene expression, so different from the intense battle-hunger that usually characterized Goku's Ultra Instinct state.

"The strength you showed was admirable, Jiren," Godyn spoke, their dual-toned voice carrying across dimensions. "But true power isn't just about force – it's about understanding the deeper rhythms of existence itself."

Jiren, bruised but unbowed in defeat, rose to his feet in the spectator area. "I... I understand now," he said quietly. "All this time, I believed absolute strength was the answer. But what you demonstrated was something else entirely."

The Grand Priest floated forward, raising his hand to command attention. "The Tournament of Power has concluded. Universe 7 is victorious, and with this victory comes the promised wish from the Super Dragon Balls."

But before the wish could be made, something unexpected occurred. The fusion's aura began to pulse in strange patterns, creating ripples in the fabric of reality that even the Zenos watched with curious intensity. The combination of Ultra Instinct and Arkynorean energy had opened up awareness of something greater – threads of destiny that connected all universes.

"There's more at stake than just our universes," Godyn announced, their voice carrying the weight of cosmic revelation. "The tournament was merely the beginning. I can sense it now – something stirs in the spaces between realities, something that threatens the very concept of existence itself."

The Grand Priest's eyes narrowed, recognizing the truth in Godyn's words. The other gods shifted uncomfortably, feeling the weight of this declaration. Even the eliminated universes' representatives leaned forward, sensing that their fates were still intertwined.

"Before we make our wish," Godyn continued, their form starting to shimmer as the fusion began to reach its limit, "we need to understand that our real battle – all of us – is just beginning. The tournament didn't just test our strength... it prepared us for what's coming."

As the fusion began to separate, the final echoes of Godyn's power sent ripples through the void, leaving patterns in reality that looked like ancient warnings written in a language older than time itself. The Tournament of Power had ended, but it had set in motion events that would challenge the very foundations of existence – and only through the unity of mortal determination and divine power would they have any hope of facing what awaited them in the spaces between universes.

The Zenos exchanged glances, their usual playfulness replaced by an uncharacteristic thoughtfulness. Something in Godyn's words had resonated even with them, as if awakening an ancient memory of why the multiverse had been separated in the first place...

A solemn hush fell over the void as Universe 11 dissolved into particles of light, their existence erased as per the tournament's stakes. Even in defeat, Jiren maintained his dignity, meeting Godyn's eyes one final time before fading away. The sight stirred something profound in the fusion's divine consciousness – a reminder of the weight of power and its consequences.

From beneath a section of shattered arena floor, Android 17 emerged, his clothes tattered but his resolve intact. He had survived the climactic final battle by shielding himself at the last possible moment. As the last remaining fighter besides Godyn, he had equal claim to the wish. But as he looked upon the fusion of mortal and divine power before him, he saw something that transcended personal desire.

With a slight smirk that masked deeper understanding, 17 stepped forward. "The wish is yours," he said simply, his voice carrying no regret. "I think you know better than any of us what needs to be done."

Godyn's silver-gold aura pulsed with acknowledgment, the fusion understanding the trust being placed in them. The Super Dragon Balls, massive spheres of divine crystal, began to orbit the void space, their surface gleaming with ancient power. As they spun, they cast prismatic light across the faces of gods and mortals alike.

The Divine Dragon emerged, its form filling the infinite void with golden radiance. Its presence made even Godyn's awesome power seem modest in comparison. The dragon's voice resonated through every dimension as it spoke: "State your wish, victor of the Tournament of Power."

Godyn floated forward, their dual-toned voice clear and purposeful. "We wish for the restoration of all universes that participated in the Tournament of Power, along with all their inhabitants."

The Grand Priest's smile deepened, a genuine warmth reaching his usually impassive eyes. This was more than just mercy – it was understanding. The fusion had glimpsed something in their transcendent state: the interconnectedness of all reality, how each universe was a thread in a greater tapestry.

The Dragon's eyes glowed, and reality itself seemed to hold its breath. Then, in a cascade of divine energy, the erased universes began to rematerialize. Universe 11 returned first, Jiren and his companions finding themselves whole once more. One by one, each eliminated universe restored, their gods and mortals alike returning to existence.

As the light faded, the Grand Priest stepped forward. "The winner's wish has been granted," he announced, his voice carrying a note of approval. "But more than that, you have demonstrated wisdom to match your power. Perhaps this is why Lord Zeno created the tournament in the first place – not just as a test of strength, but as a crucible for understanding."

The Zenos clapped with childlike joy, but there was something knowing in their expressions, as if this outcome had been hoped for all along. The multiverse had been made whole again, but it had been changed by what transpired. The bonds forged in battle, the limits surpassed, and the wisdom gained would ripple through existence for eons to come.

As the fusion began to reach its final moments, Godyn looked out at the assembled universes – no longer competitors, but fellow inhabitants of a vast and mysterious reality. The threat they had sensed still loomed in the spaces between universes, but now they would face it together, strengthened by the lessons of the Tournament of Power.

"This isn't the end," Godyn's harmonious voice echoed one final time before the fusion began to separate. "It's a new beginning for all of us."

As the last shimmer of restoration energy faded from Universe 6, Caulifla wasted no time. The separation of Godyn had just completed, leaving Goku and Odyn standing side by side, their individual auras still carrying traces of their fusion's power. The Saiyan warrior woman pushed past the other fighters, her determined stride carrying her directly toward the tall, dark-elven figure of the Arkynorean.

Her usual brash confidence wavered for just a moment as she met Odyn's ethereal silver eyes. The tournament had changed something in her – the way she'd watched him fight, the grace of his Arkynorean techniques, the raw power he commanded that somehow never lost its elegance. It had awakened feelings she'd never expected to harbor.

"Odyn," she called out, her voice carrying across the gathering of fighters and gods. "I have something to say, and I'm only going to say it once."

The Z fighters paused in their celebrations. Even Vegeta, who rarely concerned himself with such matters, turned to watch with raised eyebrows. Goku wore his characteristic grin, somehow already sensing what was coming.

Odyn turned to face her fully, his silvery hair catching the light of the void dimension. The markings of his Arkynorean heritage seemed to pulse faintly on his dark skin as he regarded her with curiosity.

"During this tournament, I saw power like I've never imagined," Caulifla continued, her cheeks flushing slightly but her voice remaining strong. "But it wasn't just your strength that caught my attention. It was... you. Everything about you. And I'm not leaving this dimension without telling you exactly how I feel."

The assembled fighters and gods watched in stunned silence as the proud Saiyan warrior laid her heart bare. "I've fallen for you, Odyn of the Arkynoreans. And I don't care if you're from another universe or another species entirely. When I want something, I go after it with everything I have."

Odyn's expression shifted from surprise to something softer, more contemplative. The stoic Arkynorean warrior who had demonstrated such devastating power in battle now found himself facing a different kind of challenge entirely. The other fighters watched with varying degrees of shock and amusement – particularly Champa, who seemed to be choking on air at the prospect of his universe's strongest female Saiyan pursuing a relationship with an Arkynorean.

Kale, standing nearby, smiled softly at her mentor's boldness. Even in matters of the heart, Caulifla attacked head-on, without hesitation or fear. It was so perfectly her.

What no one had expected was the slight smile that began to form on Odyn's usually serious face, or the way his Flame Orange eyes seemed to sparkle with an emotion that had nothing to do with battle...
