Having returned from the mission, I went back to the base with Miss Rika.
When we arrived at the base, exhaustion caught up to me. I immediately went to the room provided by the headquarters without even taking a shower, passing out on my bed. The mission was hard, and we couldn't do anything to prevent what had already happened.
STARS members were dead. The traitor disappeared with Leon, whom I believe was captured and brought somewhere. The laboratory in Arklay Mansion had also been destroyed and we had lost everything that we could use to prove Umbrella was guilty.
As for the reason, Miss Rika suspected that it was to destroy evidence. There should be some important data in that laboratory that the enemy didn't want to be revealed to the world.
"Whatever." That wasn't something that concerned me.
I couldn't return to my place yet because I still had to report tomorrow.
To be honest, I already missed the girls. The thought of seeing them again made my heart flutter. It had been a few days since the mission began and I couldn't wait to meet them again. I wondered if they were thinking of me, and how much they missed me.
Night passed pretty quickly and morning arrived. I was awoken by a knock on my door.
"Morning, sleepyhead."
Raising my head, I saw Miss Rika entering my temporary room with two trays in her hands. She wore a simple black T-Shirt and tight jeans, showing her curves perfectly. Her hair was tied up into a messy bun and she had no make up on her face. Yet she looked beautiful as ever.
"Good morning, Miss Rika. You are here early," I said while yawning.
"It's almost 10 AM." She huffed as she approached my bed and sat on it. "Were you that exhausted? You slept like a corpse and I thought you wouldn't wake up if I didn't wake you up myself."
"Ha-hahaha... I didn't think I would sleep this deep." I chuckled. "Thanks for waking me up."
"Don't mention it." She placed her hand on her thighs and crawled toward me, "I was just disappointed that you didn't come to me for a reward even though you were looking forward to it. Or are you not satisfied with my appearance?"
Her sweet smell and warm breath were really distracting.
My body immediately reacted and I could feel the heat building up inside me.
'Fuck. This woman is dangerous,' I thought. She was too attractive, and she knew it.
Noticing my pitching tent, she grinned and pressed her palm against my bulge, sending a shiver through my spine.
"It seems that you're happy to see me."
"Ugh, Miss Rika..." I groaned, "Can I take my reward later? You said you would do anything so I don't want to waste it with a quick fuck. Also I haven't taken a shower since the mission started."
She giggled and leaned closer until her face was right above mine. Then, she whispered seductively in my ears. "Are you saying you want to have some long and passionate sex?"
My dick twitched as she rubbed it with her hand, and I felt a jolt of electricity run down my entire body.
How terrifying.
Soft breath tickled my ears as she kissed my neck gently and licked my skin, leaving traces of saliva on her way down to my chest. She took one nipple into her mouth and began sucking it while her free hand caressed the other one.
"For now I will follow your request, but you can't run away from this. Your reward will expire tonight, so make sure to claim it."
"Understood, ma'am."
"Very good."
Miss Rika retreated and winked at me before leaving the room.
"Your items are in that closet. I have handled the report already so you can return after you are ready." She informed me. "See you later."
"Thanks." I nodded at her and stood up.
I went to take a quick shower before heading to the closet where all the items I had on my person during the mission were kept.
There was my favorite sword and a pistol, my wallet, my phone, and a small pouch.
I didn't find anything else inside the closet except for that.
As for my clothes... Well, it was torn and dirty, so it was better to just toss it. I found a gray shirt sitting on the side of the bed. That must be prepared for me, so I quickly changed into it before leaving the room.
After I finished changing, I noticed a small note on top of the bedside table. It read:
"I'll wait for your call tonight."
A small smile formed on my lips after reading that note. She was really something else. She always managed to surprise me whenever we met. That woman never failed to amaze me.
And that's why I liked her and wanted to surprise her back.
'Now I need to return to the girls. They must be worried that I am not home yet.' I thought.
Leaving the army barrack, I moved through the evacuation zone while holding my bag. The situation had calmed down since I went on the mission.
What changed, I wonder? People became orderly, and the soldiers patrolling looked more serious and alert.
There was an obvious change in atmosphere around here, something that didn't exist before. It was like everyone suddenly realized the situation had turned serious and they had to take care of themselves first before helping others.
This change didn't make sense, not at all. It was like the place had suddenly changed owners.
Or rather, there was someone new that could take control over it.
'A group has been formed?' I wondered.
I didn't expect that the people here could form a community so quickly. Usually it took a long time, but this was way too soon. Was there some kind of external factor influencing things? If yes, then what exactly was going on?
'Well, whatever it is, it's not my problem.' Shrugging off those thoughts, I walked toward the entrance of the evacuation area, thinking of the future.
Soon, I arrived at my place and found Saeko sat on the bench, nodding off while holding her sword tightly.
She looked pretty cute, especially with her long black hair tied up into a ponytail, and wearing her uniform with the shirt buttoned only at her chest area. It exposed some parts of her body, making her look sexy.
But it also showed that she was exhausted and had not slept well for a few days. I wondered if she was feeling alright. She looked so tired that it pained me to think how hard it was to keep an area safe in a situation like this.
When I got close, her eyes narrowed in sharp attention as she noticed my approach. However, when she realized it was me, her face immediately relaxed. She even gave me a warm smile.
"I am back."
"You are back, brother." She stood up from her bench and approached me.
