Andrea woke up to an empty bed, and when she checked the time on her phone, her eyes widened as she quickly got off from the bed and ran into Kai's room.
How did she sleep till 9am?
She hurried to her son's crib, but it was empty.
"Kai." Andrea breathes. Could Kristen have taken him? But Kristen had told her that she wasn't coming in today.
Andrea rushed out of the room and climbed down the stairs, and her heart finally relaxed when she saw Kai sitting in front of Gael as he pressed his laptop.
Gael raised his head and saw Andrea breathing heavily. "Did you have another nightmare?"
Andrea shook her head. "I just felt uneasy when I didn't see Kai in his room, and plus, I woke up so late." Her gaze moved to Kai, who was staring at her with a smile. "Hello, my little prince." She said softly as she carried him from Gael's lap.
Andrea showered him with kisses and then hugged him. She looked at Gael, who was staring at her, and asked, "I'm surprised he didn't cry."
