Xander took an oath and once it was done, the questions started.
"As witness Simon mentioned earlier, have you met with the deceased before his accident?"
Xander nodded as he looked at Simon with a calm and indifferent gaze, "Yes, he came to my office and I turned him down."
"Would you mind sharing the reason why you turned him down?"
"I won't lie to you but the deceased Mr. Willow was a gambling addict. The business was indeed in trouble but what guarantee did he have for me to entrust him such huge amounts?
