Time flew pretty fast and before he knew it, it was the day of his mother's sentencing.
After Donald's last visit, which was the only visit he made to inform him of his mother's arrest, Simon found himself getting a call and summons as a witness to his mother's trial, as well as to watch the whole trial.
The summons startled him a lot. Watching his mother's trial didn't seem to be over the top but why was he being brought in as a witness? What were they trying to insinuate? He just couldn't understand what was going on. Unfortunately, he didn't have access to a lawyer, and since he wasn't the one in trouble currently, he could only wait until the day of the trial to understand what was happening.
And soon, that day arrived.
On this morning, he left the prison in the prison transport. He gazed at the scenery outside, wondering when he would be able to admire it without the constraints of chains and the ugly prison uniform he was wearing.
