Unknown to them, however, Nnoitra possessed the strongest hide amongst the Espada.
In terms of purely physical defense, excluding spiritual pressure, Nnoitra ranked first among the Espada.
This explained why, even after taking such a powerful Cero attack, he was still able to continue fighting.
"Impossible! How could your spiritual pressure surpass mine?!" Nnoitra roared at Nelliel, his body ravaged by wounds while hers remained virtually unscathed.
Being dominated by a female opponent was a profound humiliation, especially in front of such a large audience, making it utterly unbearable.
Nelliel responded calmly, "Nothing is impossible."
Spiritual pressure erupted wildly from Nnoitra.
He bellowed, "Pray, Santa Teresa!"
Realizing he was at a significant disadvantage, Nnoitra immediately activated his Resurrección.
His arms were covered in fine bone armor, and a pair of bull-like horns sprouted from his head. The injuries he sustained in the previous exchange vanished completely.
While his outward appearance changed little, his spiritual pressure was now vastly superior to before his Resurrección.
"Die!"
Nnoitra roared, using Sonído to instantly close the distance to Nelliel. His speed had also increased dramatically.
Nelliel was startled and raised her sword to block.
When Nnoitra's crescent blades collided with her longsword, the resulting spiritual pressure sent Nelliel flying backward.
While Nelliel was airborne, Nnoitra, with his enhanced speed, pursued her relentlessly, continuing his attack with the crescent blades.
In mid-air, Nelliel deftly spun, her foot landing on the back of one of the crescent blades. Using this for leverage, she launched herself upwards, turning to strike Nnoitra's shoulder.
A clang of metal echoed; Nelliel's sword failed to pierce Nnoitra's tough hide.
"Hahahaha, Nelliel! My Resurrección has significantly boosted my hide's defense. Your sword can't even scratch me!" Nnoitra laughed triumphantly.
Simultaneously, two more arms sprouted from Nnoitra's back, and the previously intertwined crescent blades separated into four individual weapons.
Now wielding a crescent blade in each of his four hands, he attacked Nelliel in mid-air.
Nelliel successfully blocked three attacks, but as she retreated, the fourth crescent blade struck her back, inflicting a deep wound.
Injured, Nelliel used Sonído to quickly create distance between herself and Nnoitra. Stabilizing herself, she held her longsword before her chest, calmly stating, "Worthy of the Quinta Espada, indeed.
While I despise your character, your strength is undeniable. Without using my Resurrección, I would have almost certainly lost."
Hearing Nelliel's words, Nnoitra laughed, "You think your Resurrección will defeat me? Impossible!"
As he spoke, Nnoitra charged at Nelliel. While outwardly dismissive of Nelliel's Resurrección, he knew that once she activated it, a fiercely contested battle would ensue.
Therefore, his urgent attack aimed to defeat her before she could unleash her Resurrección.
"Santa Teresa: Four-Bladed Scythe!"
As he charged, Nnoitra swung his four arms simultaneously, launching four blue spiritual pressure blades towards Nelliel.
However, preventing Nelliel's Resurrección proved impossible. A powerful spiritual pressure erupted from Nelliel, dispersing Nnoitra's four blue blades.
"Declare, Gamuza!" Nelliel's calm voice echoed from the heart of the spiritual pressure explosion.
Nelliel had transformed into a centaur-like form, retaining her human upper body while her lower body had become that of an antelope. Her weapon was no longer a longsword but a double-headed spear.
By the time Nelliel's Resurrección was complete, Nnoitra had reached her, his four crescent blades attacking from all directions.
Facing Nnoitra's all-out assault, Nelliel channeled her spiritual pressure, rapidly spinning her double-headed spear, creating an impenetrable defensive circle.
Nnoitra's crescent blades struck the spinning spiritual pressure, but were deflected, unable to penetrate. His exposed position was now vulnerable.
"Gamuza: Lanzador Verde!"
Seizing the opportunity, Nelliel thrust her double-headed spear forward with unmatched force.
Even before the spear's tip made contact, Nnoitra felt a searing pain in his chest, the effect of the spear's immense spiritual pressure.
Knowing he couldn't withstand the blow directly, Nnoitra quickly retreated, drawing his crescent blades back to his chest, layering them in defense.
A tremendous boom echoed as Nelliel's spear struck Nnoitra, erupting in a surge of emerald green spiritual pressure.
This emerald green energy enveloped Nnoitra like a crystalline pillar, its powerful shockwaves relentlessly assaulting his body.
Although Nnoitra had successfully blocked the spear's piercing attack with his crescent blades, the Lanzador Verde clearly wasn't just a physical attack; it also unleashed a powerful energy blast upon impact.
After about ten seconds, the emerald green pillar surrounding Nnoitra gradually faded, until the spiritual pressure dissipated entirely.
Nnoitra was left battered and broken, his injuries too severe to sustain him; he collapsed to his knees.
His spiritual pressure had significantly weakened; he was clearly unable to continue fighting.
"Nelliel! Don't think this is over! I won't be defeated by someone like you!"
Nnoitra roared, struggling to rise. But as he stood, a sharp cracking sound echoed from his hands.
Looking down at his shattered crescent blades, Nnoitra's face fell.
"Why did you hold back?" Nnoitra asked Nelliel in a low voice.
