Damon's expression hardened. Three dots. Three remaining flame fragments pulsing faintly within the almost fully drained Diadem of the Eternal Sun, each one a small fortune of power he had no intention of letting walk away.
Goldy buzzed around doing its best. To give the fire sprite its time, Damon did not have to do much. He just needed to exchange a couple of attacks at most with the black robed man. However, he had no intentions of doing this casually.
The only reason the red-robed guy hadn't killed Damon immediately was because he had his own agenda. Something told Damon that this one definitely did not have any agenda like that. He would probably fight to kill the very first time.
And if he was as powerful as the red-robed man, then could he withstand even a single attack from the man?
