Lilac
I felt awed and very surprised. I still didn't fully understand what Killian meant, but hearing that my presence was enough to help him was very relieving. I know that he's burdened and has a lot of nightmares, that's why I still feel bad about him having to fight for me and cross his family while at that.
"I can see the wheels spinning in your head." Killian sighed fondly as he gently tapped my forehead and I giggled, still feeling floored that I was so comfortable around him in such a short period. Perhaps it was because I was certain he was a good person that wouldn't try to hurt me since he's friends with Sloan.
"Don't worry your cute head off, you might feel like you're not helping, but you're doing more than enough." He said, sounding earnest and very sure and so I nodded as I exhaled shakily.
