After the grand king left, I let out a relieved sigh. After a few seconds, I asked myself what I was relieved about because now that I'd have to be reporting to him while also having the Prince's butler watching me and giving me near impossible tasks, it was clear as day that my life had just gotten much more worse than it previously was.
The two messengers were still present even after the grand king left. Jared and Nikolai. I remembered their names from the last time, and I remember begging them desperately to not throw me to the beast that night, but they did just that, showing how cruel they both were. I hated them so much, they were the ones who bought me from my uncle like a fucking object, they're the reason my entire life got ruined, and of opportuned, I'd make life a living hell for the two of them.
