Chapter 415 - Chapter 414: A Childish Fantasy

The two children weren't scared. They were just a little confused. These white chains must be their master's ninjutsu. They were so strong that they couldn't break free. Torifu rubbed their heads and then said with a smile, "I'm going to take you to touch the sky."

Torifu blew a whistle and then leaped up. Aokumo instantly flew out from his nest! He steadily caught Torifu and then flew towards the high sky. The wind howled in Yahiko's and Konan's ears. When they looked down, they were getting farther and farther away from the ground. They were flying towards the sky. They were about to touch the sky.

At this moment, Konan was staring intently at everything around her: the clouds, the flying birds, and the buildings that were gradually becoming smaller. She was flying.

"Sensei! We're flying!"

Torifu smiled and rubbed their heads. "Yes, this is your first time flying, but it won't be your last." Then he looked at Konan. "You're a child with an active mind. Do whatever you want to do. You can be bold with whatever you want to try."

"Your first flight was with me. I hope that one day, you can take me to fly."

Konan clenched her small fists. Two words were written all over her face: determination!

"Sensei! I will succeed!"

Torifu smiled slightly and then let Aokumo fly even higher. It was a little cold at high altitudes, but with Torifu's protection, the two children weren't affected. Soon, they broke through the clouds.

At this moment, it was as if they had entered another world. Below them was an endless sea of clouds, and above them was the vast blue sky. Konoha had disappeared, and it seemed as if only the three of them were left in this world.

"Are you scared?"

He thought they might be a little scared, but Yahiko and Konan were still very excited. "No, we're not scared! The sky is so beautiful!"

"Sensei, do creatures live in the clouds?"

Torifu pretended to think. "Hmm... Maybe. I think so, but they seem to hide very well and are never discovered."

Konan suddenly understood. "I see. I'll discover them one day."

A child's world is wonderful. Torifu had long since left that childish stage. But he wouldn't destroy the childish and fragile fantasies of a child. Every imagination could become a reality in the future.

"How was this trip? Did you see a world you've never seen before?"

Konan and Yahiko both nodded. "Thank you, Sensei, for taking us to the sky. We're very happy." Seeing that these two children were in good spirits, Torifu was also very happy. He found that Yahiko and Konan's personalities were different from Minato's. Minato was very shy when he was a child, and he only changed a little when he grew up. But both Yahiko and Konan were more outgoing. On the first day, they were just not familiar with him. But today, they were already talking a lot and were very relaxed.

Seeing how happy they were, Torifu let Aokumo stay in the sky for a little while longer, letting the two little ones have fun. After about ten minutes, the three of them returned to the ground. Torifu wanted to do a free fall, but he was afraid of scaring the children, so he let Aokumo land slowly.

Back at the compound, Aokumo returned to his nest, and Torifu and the two children returned to their original positions. Torifu lay in the rocking chair, and Yahiko and Konan stood in front of him.

"Becoming a ninja allows you to do many things that only exist in your imagination. If you want that too, then you must train well and strive to become a ninja as soon as possible."

Konan and Yahiko were completely captivated by the trip they just had. They now wanted to become ninjas very much.

"I will teach you how to extract chakra and learn some basic chakra knowledge during this time." Then he looked at Konan. "Especially you, Konan. If you want to make your idea a reality, you need to study chakra knowledge seriously."

Injecting chakra into paper was a simple thing, but developing it into a ninjutsu was very difficult. It required continuous practice, but in the beginning, you could directly inject chakra into the folded paper. For example, paper shuriken, to simulate the effect and get a feel for it.

For several days in a row, Torifu taught them how to quickly extract chakra. The two little ones had good talent and had already accumulated some chakra in their bodies. Compared to the average new students at the ninja academy, they were already far ahead and were considered genius students. If they were to be put into the academy, they would be highly sought after. Torifu also planned to teach them for a few more days before sending them to the ninja academy so they could meet more classmates and slowly find a sense of belonging in Konoha. Otherwise, if they were always cooped up at home, they would not be interested in anything in the village, and they would naturally not have any feelings for the village.

"Focus, don't get distracted!"

The small stick in Torifu's hand hit Yahiko's head, making him yelp in pain. But after rubbing his head, he immediately started training again. This little boy just couldn't sit still. Just when he was about to settle down, he wanted to open his eyes and look at other things. This was not a good habit, so Torifu gave him a little lesson.

On the other hand, Konan had been in a meditative state from the very beginning and was not disturbed by anything from the outside world. Even when Torifu was teaching Yahiko a lesson, she was not affected, nor was she curious. Although Yahiko had always acted like a big brother in front of Konan, he was still just a child. These habits were not inborn. It was probably because in their vagrant life, they always had to be wary of danger around them and whether other children were eyeing the food in their hands. So over time, this habit was formed. But there was no other way. Training would not speed up just because of a tragic past. If he didn't correct this habit, he would never be able to focus on training, and he would soon be left behind by Konan.

Yahiko also understood this principle, so he didn't complain. When Torifu hit him, he just rubbed his head and continued training. Both of them were good children. They just got used to living a hard life. They just needed to correct themselves quickly.

Torifu didn't let them stop training until noon. The number of times Yahiko looked around had also decreased significantly. His talent was originally a little better than Konan's. So even though he was always daydreaming, his chakra was still on par with Konan's.

"That's enough training for today. I'll take you out to eat in a while." Yahiko was very happy. After sitting all morning, his butt was a little numb, but the increase in chakra in his body showed that it was all worth it.

"Sensei, are we going to eat ramen again? I really like that taste."
