"A NEW HERO HAS ARRIVED... TO SAVE THE DAY!!!"
Jaden grinned at Grapha as he struck a heroic fist-bump pose in the air.
His entire right arm is armored in scales of crimson red, as the upper head of a red dragon head sat on Jaden right shoulder like a shoulder plate. From his back spread a single, left, white angelic wing. It flaps only with one wing and yet its enough to keep Jaden floating in the air.
Mash and Lovely with their mouth agape and can't help but utter the same word.
"What.... The.... FUCK... IS THAT JADEN!?"
"Heh, I'm no longer just Jaden, Mash!" Jaden raise his arm and pose.
"I AM {Elemental HERO Blazing Jaden Wingman}!"
"And what's with that power!?" Mash shouted. " It almost look like he resembles..."
Across the chamber, Titan was already on his feet, wiping blood from his nose after his unceremonious fall. "Urgh…! Damn insects!" he spat a teeth, then glares up at Jaden.
"You! Aren't you the coward who ran away a few minutes ago!?" Titan pointed. "Are you back again to DIE!?"
"Coward? Sure, I was a coward a few moments ago..." Jaden looked down. "I ran away... leaving behind my friend while he risked his life to save mine. And it wasn't because I was scared or something... It was because I was too powerless to do anything."
"It felt like a whole different world... one I didn't belong in. And while I ran, the only thing that is on my mind is," Jaden lips twist bitterly "'This isn't very heroic, is it?'"
"Jaden..." Mash muttered.
"Until... I heard a voice." Jaden continue, "A familiar voice that gave me this power! The power to be the HERO and to finally enter your world and save you, Mash!"
Mash can't help but feel a bit touch.
"Even if I need to risk myself dying...!"
Flames started coiling around Jaden's right arm as if responding to his emotion.
"I'LL BURN THE DARKNESS WITH MY INFERNAL FLAMES!!! PREPARE YOURSELF, VILLAIN!"
"YOU TALK BIG FOR A BRAT PLAYING HERO AGAINST THE ULTIMATE DESPAIR INCARNATE!" Titan snarled, pointing a trembling finger at Jaden. "ERASE HIM GRAPHA!"
Grapha reared back, as he started charging an electrifying black and yellow lightning ball in his maw.
Jaden just grinned. "Heh… Then how about I show you a SuperMove!"
Jaden raise his right arm, created, and charged a small but concentrated ball of flame on the palm of his hand.
"INFERNAL...."
"DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!" Titan screamed, and Grapha unleashed the lightning beam straight at Jaden.
Jaden gritted his teeth, and aimed his right hand forward at the beam.
"RAGE!!!"
A great infernal beam shot out from Jaden's palm. It clashes with Grapha thunder beam, and the thunder beam instantly get overwhelmed as the flaming beam tore through it like butter.
The infernal beam then head straight toward Grapha, who has a shocked face.
BOOOOOM!!!
The flaming beam struck Grapha straight in the chest and exploding in a burst of flames, shaking the entire chamber. Grapha howled as he staggered back and hitting a wall.
"ARGHHHH!!!" Titan kneeled as he clutched his chest, feeling as if his skin is melting.
Titan turned at Grapha and saw in horror that the black scale on his chest has literally melted.
*Cue shocked pikachu face on Mash and Lovely*
Jaden turned toward them, gives a V-sign and grinned, "Gotcha! How's that for a super move, Mash!? Hehe!"
Mash didn't even say a word or nodded, he's too shocked on seeing the firepower on that flame that even melts Grapha scales, but also...
"Is that {Elemental HERO Flame Wingman} Spirit power...?" Lovely asked.
"Definitely." Mash said before turning at her in disbelief, "BUT HOW??? HOW DID HE GET IT AND FROM WHERE!???"
"Hm~" Lovely tapped her chin. "Oh! A few weeks ago!" Lovely clapped her hands. "Remember that experiment where we would secretly switch out Jaden cards in his deck with yours to see if he'd notice!?" (Refer to chapter 19)
"YOU WHAT!?" Jaden overheard.
"That time we switched out Flame Wingman, Right!? So maybe he got the Spirit Power from your card, Darling!" Lovely reasoned.
Mash buried his face in his palm. "Okay, first off, I didn't know the cards my system makes could grant spirit powers. And second, I DIDN'T KNOW FLAME WINGMAN WAS A SPECIAL SUMMON CARD!!"
"What!? But Darling, didn't you use a HERO deck before me!?" Lovely shot back. "You should know that!"
"I didn't use the original Flame Wingman, Lovely!" Mash snapped. "I used the Infernal Rage Flame Wingman, not OG Flame Wingman. And infernal rage doesn't have a special summon animation."
Before he could continue yapping, rapid footsteps came from the corridor. Mash and Lovely turned to see Syrus, Chumley, and Alexis sprinting toward them all looking furious, panicked, and exhausted.
"WHERE'S JADEN!?" Alexis was furious "He was just behind us until he disappeared out of nowhere! He must've come here to save you, right!?"
"Yeah, we saw him flashing bright and then he's gone!" Syrus explained.
"It was like he went whoooosh down the hall!" Chumley gestured wildly. "So, uh… where is he!?"
Mash and Lovely didn't speak. They simply raised a finger and pointed upward.
The three looked up and froze.
High above the chamber, Jaden was fully locked in flying with one wing and dodging every single one of Grapha's claw and bite attack.
"Urghhh!!! HIT HIM, GRAPHA!" Titan roared.
The dragon's strikes grew faster, more vicious, but still, Jaden dodged them all with effortless grace.
"Haha! Missed me!" Jaden laughed, darting around another claw swipe. "Man, this is kinda fun!"
Then his expression sharpened. "But, good things must come to an end...!"
Jaden clenched his right hand into a fist, then flames started to spiral around his right arm and concentrated around the fist.
"Perfect! This should do it!" Jaden smirked, before vanishing the moment he dodged a grab from Grapha.
Grapha was shocked and immediately looked around searching for Jaden, until Titan shouted, "ABOVE YOU!!"
Grapha turned up just in time to see Jaden descending straight at him like a meteor, with his right fist pulled back, and was shining brightly like a sun.
"TAKE THIS—"
"INFERNAL WRATH!!!"
BOOOOOMMM!!!
The infernal punch landed square across Grapha's face, detonating a swirling torrent of inferno that burned Grapha face even more and slammed Grapha straight to the ground.
"Haha! How's that for a heroic punch!?" Jaden taunted with a grin.
On the ground however, Alexis, Syrus and Chumley jaw was on the floor.
"Since when could Jaden do that...?" Syrus was completely flabbergasted.
Alexis, however, slowly turned toward Mash and Lovely with a suspicious side-eye that screamed, 'You two had something to do with this, aren't you.'
Mash caught her stare and raise his hands in defense. "We didn't do nothin!"
"Technically..." Lovely murmured with a sly shrug.
Back to Titan, he's clutching his entire head as he feels like a hammer hit him hard on the skull and also searing burns spreading across his face.
"Urgh! Damn you...!" Titan glared at Jaden above.
Jaden looked down at the toppled black dragon, it growled while clutching it's melted dented head.
"Now..." Jaden smirks, and raise his right arm to the side. "LET'S FINISH THIS!"
The Dragon head on his shoulder eyes flash an emerald green light. Then it slides down from Jaden shoulder to his hand, merging with it, finally a bottom jaw spurted out from the upper head and transforming Jaden arm into the iconic Flame Wingman dragon arm.
Mash whistled. "That's dope, ngl."
Jaden then aimed his dragon arm toward the knocked down Grapha, the red dragon on his arm begin to opens its maw wide.
"INFERNAL...!!!"
A flaming fireball started to charge from it's mouth, swelling larger and larger until the fireball was as big as Jaden himself.
"Go for it, Jay!!!" Syrus cheered.
"Finish the son of a bitch off for good~!" Lovely chimed in.
"SUPERNOVA!!!!!!"
WOOOOSHHHH!!!

Nothing happened.
The massive fireball suddenly fizzled out and vanished into smoke.
"Eh!? What the—why did it disappear!? And also, why is my body so… heavy...?" Jaden uttered, before a bright light engulfed his body once more and untransformed Jaden to his base form.
Jaden then began plummeting toward the ground.
"WAAAAAAAHHH!!" He screamed.
"Lovely!" Mash shouted.
"On it~!" Lovely dashed forward, catching Jaden mid-fall and landing gracefully. "Got you~!"
She then ran back to the other and set him down gently on the ground.
"Thanks, Miss Labrynth!" Jaden grinned, only to realize something was very wrong. "Wait... why can't I move!? I can't even move my arm, legs or finger even an inch!"
"Huh!? You serious, Jay!?" Syrus panicked.
Lovely looked closer at Jaden and realized. "This is...!"
"What is it, Miss Lab?" Alexis asked.
"It's Ka deficiency! He used up all his Ka with all that big move he did, and now most of it is now used only to keep his organs running." Lovely explained.
"Ka?" Mash raised an eyebrow. "Is that another one of your weird energy terms?"
"Oh, those~? I just forgot the name of the energy, ehe~, only remembered after asking Arias." Lovely purred.
"But the essence is still the same, it's your life force energy, and is mostly used to either stay alive or... perform magic!"
"Oooh... so I'm on life support right now!?" Jaden said with wide eyes.
"Someone on life support shouldn't be this loud." Mash chop Jaden forehead and he makes a "Bweh" sound.
Then Syrus tapped Mash's shoulder, voice trembling. "Uh... guys..."
Mash turned around and his face instantly turned pale.
Grapha, has risen once more...
It's more damaged though, with many cuts, bruises, some of it's face and arms is made of silver, it's chest scale is melted and yet, the thing is still standing.
"ARE YOU GODDAMN SHITTING ME!????" Mash cursed. "HOW MANY TIMES IS THIS THING GONNA GET UP AND UP AGAIN!? BECAUSE IT'S GETTING ANNOYING REAL QUICKLY!!!"
"Hahaha..."
A weak, rasping laugh escaped Titan's lips. "Like I said... my Grapha is the ultimate despair incarnate..."
His body was trembling as if extremely exhausted. Every breath came out as a hoarse wheeze, but his voice is still laced with madness.
"Cough... looks like my time's running out." He smiled faintly, a sick glimmer of satisfaction crossing his eyes. "So..."
As if on cue, Grapha raised its head, it began to charge another blast of lightning-infused energy from it's maw.
Titan's grin widened into something twisted. "Let's all go to hell together... shall we?"
All of them gritted their teeth as if bracing for the inevitable, Mash though is trying to think how he would get out of this situation.
[Should we just run!? The corridor is right beside us, but his beam will surely hit us! Maybe I can make a mirror force quickly with my system, but then again, Titan would surely be suspicious of me tapping nothing in the air and just fire it off... Should Lovely create a silver barrier!? But what if the silver can't stand the beam...!]
Even he was starting to think it was hopeless. Grapha's mouth was glowing brighter and brighter, ready to release death itself upon them.
Then-
"INFERNAL RAGE!!!"
A spray of flames, like a flamethrower came out of nowhere, it surprised Grapha and the beam was fired upward to where the group are. It blasted the ceiling instead of the group but, several debris starts to fall down at them. But Lovely just punch and kick all of them away.
Mash surprised turned around to the Jaden on the ground. "Was that you, Jaden!?"
"Hm... let see." Jaden said while he looked at his body, "Not in hero mode, absolutely cannot move even a finger, and laying here on the ground. Sooooo... Of course it's not me, dude!"
Mash gives an annoyed look at Jaden.
"Hey look~!" Lovely suddenly called out, pointing toward the glowing smoke.
Everyone turned and their jaw dropped.
There was someone flying in the air with a single white wing stretched from its left shoulder, it's has a green and black skin alongside some red upper right of his chest. From it's back, it has a red dragon tail that whipped the air, it's head is covered by a black helmet with a spike going upward, with red eyes and some pattern on its forehead.
Then the most eye catching part is it's giant red dragon head that is it's right arm. With emerald green eye, jagged teeth and a dark beak with smoke coming out of it almost as if it just breathed fire.
Its presence radiated power and pride.
It was...
a Hero!
"Never fear..." the Hero spoke. "For I AM HERE!!!"
It struck a bold pose midair.
"ELEMENTAL HERO FLAME WINGMAN!!!"
"WOOOOAAHHHH!!!"
Jaden, Syrus and Chumley was ecstatic.
"JAY! YOUR HERO'S HERE TO SAVE THE DAY!!" Syrus yelled, pumping his fists.
"WOOHOO! WE'RE SAVED!!" Chumley jumped up and down.
"HAHA! NOW THAT I SEE HIM IN ACTION HE REALLY IS THE COOLEST!" Jaden commented. "AND HE CAN TALK TOO!!"
Meanwhile, Mash, Lovely, and Alexis simply exchanged flat looks.
[why do I feel like this guy's a fraud...]
Flame Wingman raised his dragon arm with flames coiling around it. "Prepare yourself, vile dragon! For I, Flame Wingman, shall punish you with the flame of justice!"
He rocketed forward with trailing fire behind him, and his dragon arm opens its jaws wide as he pointed it directly at Titan and Grapha.
"TAKE THIS! INFERNAL RAGE!!!"
A massive stream of flame poured forth from the dragon mouth, engulfing Grapha's head and torso in an infernal blaze. The air around the chamber started to heat up, but...
Grapha didn't even flinch. It didn't even feel hurt by it.
"Hm... I feel a bit warm." Titan commented.
"Eh?"
"Anyway," Titan said coldly, "finish him."
With a single, effortless motion, Grapha swung its arm and swatted Flame Wingman out of the air like a fly.
"WAAAHHHH!!!" Flame Wingman screamed as he smashed into the wall.
"AAARRGGGHHH!!!!" Jaden screamed out in pain. "It feels like I just got hit in the side real bad! And then..."
"Crashed into a wall like the washed Hero he is~" Lovely roasted.
"There's a reason people say to never meet your heroes, Shmaden," Mash added dryly.
"DUDE!!! HE DID HIS BEST!" Jaden snapped.
"Well, his best is not enough. Because your transformation did more damage than your 'Favorite GOAT of a HERO' and also..." Mash pointed his finger. "Just look at them!"
Jaden then saw Syrus and Chumley stood with faces that perfectly combined shock, disappointment, and crushed fanboy dreams.
"Ugh... He's still my favorite, though! but..." Even Jaden can't help but even doubt himself.
"HEY!" Alexis suddenly shouted.
Everyone turned toward Grapha, just in time to see the dragon's maw crackle with black lightning as he charged it's beam once more, but this time... Grapha immediately fired the lightning beam straight at them.
And this time, there is no time for reaction.
BOOOOOOMMMMM!!!
The Lightning beam hit the group head on that created an explosion of electricity and sent smoke, dust and debris flying up.
"AHAHAHAHAHA—cough, cough!" Titan wheezed, spitting blood onto the floor. "Good one, Grapha... immediately firing instead of charging a big one... Perfect for wiping out a bunch of bratty insects!"
"AHAHAHAHA!!!!" He threw his head back and laughed maniacally, until the smoke cleared.
And his laugh stop instantly and turned into disbelief.
"W-WHAT!?"
The other was perfectly fine, as they was shielded by a dome of translucent barrier with white feathers.
"IS THAT—IS THAT MIRROR FORCE AGAIN!?!?" Titan screamed.
"Mash! Is this your doing!?" Alexis questioned.
"Nuh uh, I don't even have my deck or any trap cards." Mash explained, waving his empty hand.
"Then who did this!?" Syrus shouted in panic.
Before anyone could answer, Jaden squinted as something was outside the dome. "Wait... what's that flying over there...?"
A small, round shape furbal fluttered with white wings outside the barrier.
"Kuri kuri!!!!" {Winged kuriboh} Chirped.
"BUDDY!!!" Jaden gasped in joy. "Winged Kuriboh! You're alive!"
"Wasn't he turned into a grilled chicken wings earlier, how is he back!?" Mash blinked.
"KURI!!???"
"Seems like the Shadow Duel not only healed Jaden... but his monsters too~." Lovely explained.
Mash understood. "Ooh I see-"
BOOOOOOMMM!!!!
Another beam hit the barrier and shakes the ground.
"Buddy, are you alright!?" Jaden called out.
Winged Kuriboh appeared inside the barrier with an expression that screamed, 'that was a close one!'
BOOOOMMM!!!
BOOOOOMMM!!!
Two more lightning blasts hammered the barrier in rapid succession.
Mash threw his arms up. "GODDAMN IT, IS THAT DRAGON SPAMMING HIS BEAMS NOW!?"
BOOOMMM!!!

The chamber trembled violently from grapha's barrage.
Grapha didn't charge too much before unleashing beam after beam of lightning energy, meanwhile Titan was cackling while coughing up blood.
"AHAHAHAHA!!! YES!! THAT'S RIGHT, GRAPHA! OBLITERATE THEM!! KEEP FIRING UNTIL NOTHING'S LEFT!!!"
The barrage of beam didn't seem to crack the barrier before but little by little, cracks like spiderwebs start to form.
"KURIIIIII!!!" Winged Kuriboh cried out.
"My buddy said the barrier wouldn't last longer! But it would hold indefinitely against the dragon attack!" Jaden explained.
"Huh!? You can speak kuriboh, Jay?" Lovely titlted her head.
"Nope."
"Then what do you mean that the barrier wouldn't last long but still hold against the beam attack!?" Alexis questioned.
"KURI KURI KURI RI RI BOH!!!" Kuriboh shouted, it's wings flapped desperately.
"He says the barrier's impenetrable, but only lasts a minute!" Jaden translated confidently.
"YOU JUST SAID YOU CAN'T SPEAK KURIBOH!" Lovely yelled, grabbing and chokehold Jaden.
"So that's why Winged Kuriboh's effect only lasts one turn..." Syrus muttered, trying to sound smart.
Meanwhile all of this happened, the beam barrage seems to be endless while the barrier cracks little by little as it's duration is about to end.
Mash clenched his fists, thinking desperately.
[THINK MASH, THINK! IS THERE ANYTHING, ANY CARD, SOMETHING THAT CAN GET YOU OUT OF THIS SITUATION!? OR SOMEONE!!?]
Then Mash gets a revelation.
[Wait, someone.... I think there is someone that can help us! But who...!?]
Mash thinks again real hard as he scavenge through his memories, until he finally got it.
"Once and once only... call my name and I shall answer your plea..." Mash uttered and smirks. "Heh. How convenient and wasteful to use it now. But... It is a real tight situation after all..."
He drew in a deep breath, then shouted with all his might.
"CHAOS ANGEEEELLLL!!!!"
The air rippled.
And almost instantly, two enormous black portal tore open the air behind Grapha as two colossal black hands made from chaos energy emerge out of them.
"WHAT IS THAT!!??" Titan roared, but in an instant...
CLAP!!!
The two giant hands clapped, flattening Grapha entire upper body in an instant. Purple blood splatters everywhere from the sheer force of the clap, meanwhile Titan screamed as if his whole upper body got literally crushed to a pulp.
"AARRRGGHHH!!!!"
Titan collapse to his knee and lay motionless on the ground.
Titan body then began sinking into the floor, dragged down by writhing black tendrils. Meanwhile, the dragon's corpse evaporated into a purple smog, and disappeared alongside it's blood.
For a moment, nobody moved.
"Uh... what happened outside?" Chumley asked, peering through a crack in the barrier, right before it shattered into shards of light.
As the dust settles, they look around and saw no Titan, no Grapha. Only two giant black portal in the middle of the air and also a deck of cards on the ground.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!?" Syrus screamed, pointing at the massive black portals. Until something cold touched his shoulder.
"Do not fear me..." Standing right behind him was Chaos Angel, half-materialized from a rift, "Little lamb..."
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"
Syrus jumped, and immediately run towards Lovely back.
"Oh relax, Sy~," Lovely said, patting his head. "He's not a bad guy~'
"Yeah," Mash added casually. "He's an ally."
Chaos Angel stepped fully through the rift, towering over them, his wings stretching wide.
"Wait a second," Jaden blinked. "Isn't that the monster you summoned when you dueled Chazz!? The one that won you the duel!?"
"Yeah he is." Mash said, "he's a duel spirit too, kinda like your buddy Winged Kuriboh and the fraud Hero."
"Duel Spirit..?" Jaden uttered.
"Fufu..." Chaos Angel folded his arms, and turned towards Mash. "You called for me rather late, Mash..."
"Heh... sorry. Forgot you were on speed-dial." Mash scratched the back of his head.
Before anyone could respond, Alexis noticed something on the wall, the carved runes were glowing faintly purple. "Guys... Is the spirit duel ending? Because those symbols are—"
A pulse of purple light burst from the center of the chamber, engulfing everyone.
When it faded, everyone's bruises and injuries were completely gone.
"WOHOOO!!!" Jaden jumped up, arms raised. "I feel amazing!! Like I just took a nap AND a power-up!"
"Kuri kuri!!!" Winged Kuriboh spun in circles, celebrating.
"Seems like it also regenerated that Idiot, Ka." Mash noted.
Then Jaden looks around, "Huh? where is Titan and that dragon of his?"
"Oh, Chaos Angel defeated it." Mash explained. "I don't know how, since dust was literally blocking our view, so Chaos Angel?" Mash turned at Chaos Angel. "What did you do?"
Chaos Angel clapped.
Mash blinked. "...What's that supposed to mean?"
Chaos Angel clapped again.
Mash sighed. "Yeah. Right. He's an agent of chaos, so don't expect detailed explanations from him."
"Hoh... how bold..." Chaos Angel rumbled, though there was amusement in his tone.
"Anyway... let's have a rest before returning to our dorm" Mash said and everyone dropped to the floor almost in unison, mentally and emotionally drained.
Alexis sighed. "Even though my body's healed, I feel exhausted."
"Hahhh~! Same here, Lexy~" Lovely murmured, stretching her arms. "Normally I'd fix this with a cup of demon tea, but right now... I just want to melt into the floor for five minutes."
"Haha! You're right! A good rest is deserved after a hard-fought battle!" boomed a familiar voice.
Everyone turned. Flame Wingman sat down right beside Lovely, arms crossed proudly.
For some reason, an awkward silence fills the room.
"W-Woah! It's Flame Wingman, guys! Heh... isn't that cool?" Jaden try to lighten the mood which didn't work.
Lovely glared at the green hero sitting a little too close. "...Why the fuck are you sitting beside me?"
"Language, young lady!" Flame Wingman scolded. "There are children present!"
Lovely's eye twitched. "I'm five centuries older than you, brat."
"Hmph! Then I am a billion centuries older than you, Labrynth," Chaos Angel declared with divine smugness.
"No one asked, unc." Lovely leaned back, unimpressed. "Also, I've been carrying this entire fight since the start. So please—for the love of all five bondaged exodia parts—let me rest."
Chaos Angel chuckled deeply. "Disrespectful to higher beings... how delightfully chaotic of you, Labrynth."
While everyone rested and caught their breath, Mash quietly stepped away from the group. Because he was focused toward Titan deck lying on the ground.
He crouched down, brushing aside a thin layer of dust.
[Must've been dropped when he got sent to the real Shadow Realm,] Mash thought, picking up the cards. The moment his fingers touched them, he could feel a faint, eerie pulse almost like the deck itself was still alive.
He ignored it and began shuffling through the cards, his brow furrowing deeper with every draw. [What is this...?] he thought.
[There is one copy of each of the Dark World cards from the structure deck... but that's it! there should be more other cards that isn't Dark World card from the structure deck, and yet all I see is it filled with staples of this world.]
"Strange... If I remember too, there was a Danger! archetype in the dark world structure deck too..." Mash inspected the deck more "So where is it..."
"Gone." A mysterious voice cut the air like a blade. "For balance reason."
"What!?" Mash spun around. "Who said that!?"
The shadows in front of him began to distort and without warning, a black-and-red rift tore itself open. From it, a single pale hand emerged, reaching toward him.
"What the— UGH!"
Before Mash could react, the hand thrust forward with inhuman speed. The impact launched him across the chamber, not only that, the hand also swiped the deck of cards in Mash hands.
"Darling!?" Lovely saw Mash body flying towards the group and she caught Mash before he could crash into the others. "WHO DID THIS!?" Lovely was enraged.
Lovely then saw a tall, composed, sharp eyed woman, with jet black long hair, crimson eyes and wearing an all black suit with a crimson red tie, come out from the black and red rift.
"I'll... be taking this." She spoke holding a deck of cards.
"HOW DARE YOUUU!!!!" Lovely roared, as she brandish her silver battle axe as silver aura forms around her. She then instantly dash towards her with inhuman speed.
At the same moment, Flame Wingman's eyes burned with determination."Jaden!" he shouted, nodding once.
Jaden caught the message instantly and grinned. "Alright! Let's go!"
Flame Wingman fly towards him as a polymerization vortex appeared in front of them as they fuse and transformed Jaden to his Hero form.
"YEAH! THIS IS SO SICK!" Jaden yelled, soar like a comet and joining Lovely in the charge. "Let's do this together, Miss!"
"INFERNAL...!" Jaden's right fist ignited in a roaring inferno.
"SILVER...!" Lovely's axe gleamed with white light.
"Sigh..." The sharp-eyed woman didn't even blink. As their combined attacks closed in, she lifted both her hands lazily, her two fingers raised.
"...WRATH!"
"...GUILLOTINE!"
CLANG!
In one motion, she caught Lovely's descending axe between her fingers and stopped Jaden's fiery punch with just a single fingertip.
Both attacks froze in midair.
"What!?" Lovely's eyes widened in disbelief.
"No way—!" Jaden gasped.
"This is boring," the woman said, her tone flat, almost disappointed. "Take over, will you?"
"Jaden Yuki and Lovely Labrynth..." Another voice soft, elegant, and disturbingly calm answered her. "Will now feel twice the weight of the earth's gravity."
Suddenly, Lovely and Jaden body become extremely heavy. Lovely's knees slammed into the stone floor, her axe clattering beside her. Jaden was worse as he instantly lay flat at the ground almost like he's being crushed.
"Urgh!" Lovely groaned.
"So heavy...!" Jaden on the ground.
"Damn it—!" Mash turned sharply toward Syrus, Chumley, and Alexis. "YOU THREE! GET OUT OF HERE, NOW! WE'LL HANDLE THIS!"
"Alright!" Alexis barked, taking charge immediately. "C'mon, you two!"
They turned to the corridor behind them and was about to run away to safety.
"CUT!"
CLAP!
A sound of a clapboard echoed, and suddenly a small girl appeared in front of them. She couldn't have been more than thirteen, with wild orange twin-tails, a black beret tilted on her head, and she wore a black vest over a white shirt while clutching a clapboard in her hand.
"BWAHAHAHAHA!! WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING!? THE SCENE'S NOT DONE YET!" She spoke like a gremlin.
They all stop on their tracks.
"Who are you!?" Alexis demanded, stepping protectively in front of Syrus and Chumley. "What do you mean, scene?"
"HA-HA-HA! DOES IT REALLY MATTER!?" The girl twirled her clapboard gleefully. "YOU GUYS LOOK TIRED, MAYBE YOU SHOULD..."
"TAKE FIVE!"
CLAP!
She claps her clapboard and Instantly, Alexis, Syrus, and Chumley froze mid-motion, their bodies stiff as statues and their eyes widened in horror.
"Mmph!" [What is this!?] Alexis was saying something but not even her lips moved.
"Mmph!" [HELP!] Syrus trembled internally.
"MPH MPH!!!" [HELP JADEN OR MASH!!!] Chumley yelped.
Mash gritted his teeth. He looked around, Lovely and Jaden pinned, the others immobilized and options are started to run out. "Who ARE you people!?" he demanded.
"BWAHAHAHA!!! GREAT QUESTION!!!" The little girl with a gremlin voice shouted while holding her clapboard.
"CUT!"
CLAP!
She then teleported beside the sharp eyed woman.
"LET'S START WITH ME FIRST!" she shouted dramatically, striking a pose. "BECAUSE I'M THE MOST EXPLOSIVE, BRUTAL, CRAZY, AND ACTION-PACKED LITTLE GIRL IN THE WHOLE UNIVERSE, THE DIRECTOR! GUTEN MORGEN, EVERYONE! BWAHAHAHAHA!!!"
Mash blinked. "What... the hell...?"
"OH YEAH! THAT PERFORMANCE OF YOURS, LOVELY AND OF COURSE, THE STAR OF THE SHOW, JADEN TOO IN THAT PREVIOUS SCENE? PER-FECT! EXPLOSIONS! SPARKS! SHONEN ENERGY! I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT!, BWAHAHAHAHA!!!"
"And next... someone appeared beside her."
Another woman suddenly appeared beside the sharp eyed woman, she was the tallest and graceful of the three with also a soothing and hypnotic voice.
"She introduced herself as... The Narrator." She said, smiling faintly.
"The Narrator stood tall among the rest of her peers... The Narrator wore a flowing white hooded robe with intircate golden patterns... A portion of her beautiful golden blonde hair is slipped gracefully behind her robe..."
[Is she fucking describing herself right now???] Mash thought.
"But the most prominent thing of The Narrator... Is her black blindfold that obscured her vision... for The Narrator see everything in third person... For The Narrator is the one who talked the dialogue and emotion of the world..."
"And finally..." she said coolly, her voice cutting through the air. "I am The Editor."
Silence spoke over the mood as the director and The narrator turned at her.
"HOY! DU DEPP*, WHAT WAS THAT CUT-WORTHY SCENE OF YOURS!? IT WAS GREAT UNTIL YOU RUINED IT!" The Director snapped.

"The Narrator looked upon The Editor with quiet disappointment." The Narrator said with soothing but detached voice.
The Editor ignored them both, adjusting her tie. "We," she said, her crimson eyes locking on Mash,
"Are The Storyboards."
"And you, Mash…" she continued, taking a step closer at him.
"…have disrupted the balance of this world."
