This is just a test for me to try and make an extra chapter for fun, so I hope ya'll enjoy!
Part 1: What is it and the fuck it do?
Mash has a system that is created by GOD called the Master Duel system. What it does is simple, it's basically the Master Duel game without the ranked, solo or event duels, and instead has the shop, gacha, mission and deck menu's.
Though as you all know, I ditched the shop, gacha and mission because its just a headache to manage so we'll be talking about the deck menu instead.
The deck menu is still the same as in Master Duel, and for those who don't play Master Duel, it's a place where you make your deck. (NO SHIT SHERLOCK!)
When you create a new deck, it then pops up your deck builder and inventory menu, where all your card from the gacha or cards that is transferred from the real world is stored. Then with a simple swipe, you can put a card in your inventory straight to your deck.
But of course, to make a great deck you need cards that synergies with one another, usually an archetypal cards or cards that is just staple. But oh no! You didn't get those really important card because your luck from the gacha is horseshit and now you're left with trash cards that you won't use in your inventory...
Which is why you can recycle them to get creation points or CP.
CP allows you to make any cards as long as you have enough of it and it's the same rarity as the cards you're making.
OKAY, so I'm basically yapping how Master Duel deck building works again, when you could've just go to youtube and some guy in there will probably already explained this stuff 2 years ago.
though if there's one thing I want to add that is not from Master Duel, is that you can upgrade a card that is transferred from the real world and upgrade them to their modern version with less CP needed.
Anyway... WE'LL SKIP THIS PART!
And let's move on to something that is really not from Master Duel and more of my idea...!
Part 2: Spirit Bond System
Mash MD system not only allows him to make modern cards and bring it to 2004 of YU-GI-OH. It also has a secret system called the Spirit Bond system, and it has one purpose only...
So I could make the title of this fanfic.
Anyway, how it works is simple!
If you take care and cherish one of your monster cards, and consistently use it in your duels, then a spirit heart goes up, to a max of 10.
This is your spirit heart when you treat your card like garbage.

Notice the difference?
This spirit hearts is very important. Because for most cards, getting to 6 spirit hearts means that you are able to finally be able to communicate and interact with a Duel Spirit of the card.
Though that's it.
BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT!!!!!!!
IF your card has a Special Summon animation in Master Duel... then you get something extra from the spirit hearts.
We'll call this type of cards, Special Summon Cards or SS cards for short.
What makes them so Special compared to some normal cards, is that they can give you something called, Spirit Power. Which is abilities that you can use in the real world and also other benefits.
Let me explain:
First, at 3 hearts: You are now able to interact and communicate with the Duel Spirit. So no more waiting longer to get to 6 hearts, you get it much faster. This also has the upside of you being able to get hearts faster since you're interacting with your Duel Spirit.
Next, at 6 hearts is where the fun starts: You are able to get one of the unique ability of the SS cards. And lets take for example, Lovely Labrynth's (who is a SS card in master duel) spirit power at 6 hearts:

Spirit Power: The Queen of Traps
Allows to make any normal trap card into reality.

Wow! Pretty short description, eh? Must be really OP, eh?
Well guess what!?
It doesn't explain the restriction or downside of the ability!
It just gives a brief explanation on what the ability do and that's it, good luck.
Like this spirit power doesn't explain that Mash needs to set the trap card, position it, time it, etc, and yet... that is still, not all of it's restriction. Usually for such a broken ability in 6 hearts like this, it has many restriction and Mash needs to trial and error his way into finding them all.
But usually for the simpler ones, it doesn't have a restriction at all or atleast not that big.
Then there's also the 9 hearts spirit power and we'll take Lovely Labrynth again for example:

Spirit Power: Ruler of the Silver Elements.
Able to create and manipulate silver.

Very short description, and like I said, it doesn't say anything about it's restriction. However, a 9 hearts spirit power is typically more powerful and more loose with it's restriction compared to a 6 hearts one.
Part 3: Conclusion
And with that, we got to the end of the road of explaining Mash systems.
I hope you all enjoyed it for an extra chapter that I'm gonna start working on in the future.

Though, if there is one thing to keep note of before we end this yap session, is that ONLY cards made from Mash's Master Duel system is able to give you a Spirit bond and Spirit Power stuff.
