Raigor held the glowing sphere in his fist, the third fragment of Veran's soul. The heat of the energy flowed through him, as if a golden lightning bolt had pierced his body.
But as the fragment joined the others, a voice echoed in his mind.
"You who bear the blood of the Lion, accept the gift of my lineage."
The Golden Lion, the legendary figure from the past, stepped forward. His mane burned like the sun, and his eyes shone with an ancient light.
"Once, the Lion, the Wolf, and the Dragon fought together. Now, our power is in your hands."
Raigor felt his body burn. Something inside him awoke.
A golden aura emerged from his skin, his nails became sharp claws, and his roar shook the foundations of the temple. It was the power of the Golden Lion, an ability no other of his lineage had ever obtained.
"Now you have the strength to face what is to come."
The Last Fragment: The Eternal Battlefield
As the fire that surrounded him subsided, Raigor looked up at his ancestor.
"Where is the last fragment?"
The Golden Lion looked down. "The place where heaven and hell first clashed. Where Lucifer and Michael began the eternal war."
Raigor gasped. The place where it all began.
A battlefield forgotten by time, a place where fallen angels and banished demons had shed their first blood.
A place where divine and infernal energy still clashed, creating an unstable and deadly balance.
