Chapter 32 - The Buried Fragment in the Volcano of the End

Raigor watched the fragment of Veran's soul glow in his hand, feeling its energy pulse faintly. The Father of Knowledge, still wrapped in his starry cloak, peered at him with an enigmatic smile.

"You have found the first fragment," he said solemnly. "But your mission is far from over. The next one lies in a place cursed by time itself."

Raigor's jaw tightened. "Tell me where."

The Crystal Obelisk lit up, and an image appeared before his eyes: a colossal volcano, its ashes black as night, its flames capable of devouring the sky itself.

The Father of Knowledge continued:

"This is the Volcano of the End, the place where humanity met its first destruction. Here, once, men defied the gods and were destroyed by divine flames. Now, among the ruins buried in the lava, rests the second fragment of Veran's soul."

Raigor nodded. "If it is there, then I will find it."

But the Father of Knowledge fixed him with a darker gaze.

"Be careful, warrior. The volcano is not only a tomb of the lost civilization... it is also the prison of an ancient creature that will not allow anyone to steal what it guards."

Towards the Volcano of the End

Raigor set out immediately. The journey to the volcano was long and treacherous, through ash-blackened deserts and valleys of lava stone where the heat was suffocating.

Legends spoke of charred spirits wandering among the rocks, souls of men who had defied the gods and were now condemned to burn for eternity.

But Raigor did not stop. He had already faced the impossible, and nothing would make him turn back.

After days of traveling, he finally saw it: the Volcano of the End.

A colossal mountain that spat flame and smoke into the sky, surrounded by rivers of lava that snaked like fiery dragons.

Yet, deep within its bowels, the second fragment of Veran's soul awaited him.

But he was not alone.

Something was moving in the lava. Something ancient.

Raigor gripped his weapon, preparing for the worst.
