Hello everyone, author here!
I created this chapter for the sole purpose of pointing out the issue regarding Alex's double identity (Mr Chen)
Firstly, I want to express my gratitude to everyone who's taken their time to read and support the book so far; even if it's just a few chapters, thank you very much.
Now about the book, one of the reasons why I created this story was because I read a book a few years ago where the MC had two identities which he kept separate and lived both lives simultaneously. Being an ordinary shop owner during the day and an entirely different being at night.
The idea is also similar to Cid from eminence in shadows, the Idea is maintaining both identities for his personal wish.
But for some reason, the author of the story I read a few years back didn't finish the story and I was unable to know how things ended.
So that's why I created this story, I am literally writing something that I would love to read as a reader. I know I can't force others to like the idea but seeing comments from readers who have been a part of the journey since chapter one wanting to drop the book because of this issue doesn't sit well with me.
The storyline is flexible so I accept suggestions from you guys but the original idea stays the same and can't be changed easily.
Having Alex maintain his two identities also has reasons which I mentioned in chapter 198, but this doesn't mean that he's going to get bullied because he doesn't reveal his identity as Mr Chen.
He is naturally going to reveal his identity but after doing certain things first. So please keep this in mind, as much as I want everyone to read this book, I can't force them to like it.
I'm just tired of the repeated complaints of him still keeping his identity as Mr Chen hidden. Anyways, have a good read and a good day!
