Esmeray tilted slightly her head to one side, looking intensely at the two women in front of her.
She saw the wide, bright grin of the obviously energetic Mei and the calm, almost gloomy Ellie, who hadn't spoken a single word since they met.
She looked at them consecutively before shaking her head softly.
"You don't look like sisters to me," she said finally, clearly not believing Mei's words.
"Not minding how different your two personalities are, you don't even look a little bit alike in a way that could make you sisters."
At her words, Mei laughed.
"Hahahah! Hey, there are sisters who don't look alike, you know? Who told you we had the same parents? Maybe we don't have the same mother or father — so on what basis are you judging us?" Mei said, looking at Esmeray's changing expression with a grin.
And that was true.
