Chapter 354 - National Security Concerns

Anthony Hayward Chapman, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom, leaned back in his chair, weighing the pros and cons of the proposal. To be honest, he had expected something like this to come his way once he became Prime Minister. What he had never anticipated was that his backers would want to involve themselves so deeply in national security.

 

With a sigh, he said, "In short, you want the Kingdom to host a parallel national system using NATO's infrastructure."

 

"An independent system, to be precise, hosted within NATO facilities but controlled entirely by your security services," Cassandra clarified. "We're proposing a partnership to build it. But we won't impose on you on a matter this sensitive. You can assess the potential of our offer through official channels first, and then decide whether what we're proposing is beneficial for the Kingdom."
